On Armed Forces Flag Day, saluted the martyrs and soldiers dedicated to the service of the nation
The Chief Minister contributed to the Armed Forces Flag Day Fund

Raipur : On Armed Forces Flag Day, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai saluted the martyrs and all the soldiers engaged in the service of the country and said that this day gives us an opportunity to express gratitude to those brave soldiers of our country and their families, who sacrificed their lives for the security and integrity of the nation. It is because of the valor and sacrifice of the brave soldiers that today we are free and living a safe life.
Expressing respect for the country's armies, ex-servicemen and martyrs, he has appealed to the people of the state to contribute as much as possible to the Armed Forces Flag Day Fund. The Chief Minister said that Armed Forces Flag Day reminds us that we should also fulfill our responsibilities towards the families of our brave soldiers and ex-servicemen.
The Chief Minister has said that all of you should participate enthusiastically in Flag Day. Whatever amount is collected on Flag Day, it is used in the welfare schemes of our soldiers and their families. I urge all of you to also participate in it and contribute to the service of the nation.
On the occasion of Armed Forces Flag Day today, Director, Sainik Welfare Chhattisgarh, Brigadier Shri Vivek Sharma met Chief Minister Shri Sai at his residence office and wished him Armed Forces Flag Day by pinning a lapel pin on him. The Chief Minister contributed to the Armed Forces Flag Day Fund for the welfare of the families of ex-servicemen and martyrs. On this occasion, Secretary to the Chief Minister, Shri Rahul Bhagat was also present.
On this occasion, the Chief Minister said that our armed forces not only protect the country's borders but also stand with us in times of natural disasters, internal crises and any crisis of humanity. The valor and dedication of our soldiers has kept the country safe in every situation. Brigadier Shri Vivek Sharma said that 27 welfare schemes are run from the Armed Forces Flag Day Fund. This year, an amount of Rs 1 crore 5 lakh has been distributed to the families of soldiers and martyrs under various schemes from this fund.
