Raipur : Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai today paid floral tribute to the dead bodies of the martyred soldiers and the driver in the ID blast in village Ambeli on Kutru-Bedre road in Bijapur district at Karli Police Line in Dantewada on Monday. He met the family members of the martyred soldiers and expressed condolences and consoled them. The Chief Minister said that the state government is with them at every step. Secretary to Chief Minister Mr. Rahul Bhagat, ADGP Mr. Vivekanand Sinha, Commissioner Bastar Mr. Doman Singh, IG Bastar Range Mr. Sundarraj P, DIGs Mr. Kamalochan Kashyap and Mr. Amit Kamble, Collector Mr. Mayank Chaturvedi, Superintendent of Police Mr. Gaurav Rai including police and CRPF officers and other public representatives and dignitaries paid floral tribute to the mortal remains of the martyred soldiers and the driver. Chief Minister Mr. Sai along with Deputy Chief Minister and Forest Minister shouldered the mortal remains of martyred soldier Baman Sodhi and sent him to his native village. Also, the mortal remains of other martyred soldiers and the driver were sent to their native villages.
Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai said that the cowardly attack by Naxalites in Kutru area of Bijapur is not only an attack on our soldiers, but also on the values of democracy and peace. The sacrifice of the soldiers will not go in vain. The campaign to eliminate Naxalites will continue. Chief Minister Shri Sai said that violence and terror will not be tolerated under any circumstances. Our government is fully committed to establishing peace in Bastar division and Naxalism will be eradicated from the state by March 2026. It is noteworthy that 8 DRG soldiers and a driver were martyred in the IED blast carried out by Naxalites in Kutru area of Bijapur district.
