Raipur : Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai held a big meeting with all the MLAs of Surguja division and Surguja MP in the Chief Minister's residence office. In the meeting, he reiterated his resolve to work together with everyone for the development of Surguja region. Chief Minister Shri Sai held an important discussion with the MP and MLAs in the meeting about all the possibilities of development in the region and took their suggestions. He said that we are keeping an eye on the development of the entire Surguja division and are working on all the possibilities to take Surguja forward on the path of progress. Our government is preparing a better action plan for this.
Chief Minister Shri Sai said that in the vision of developed Chhattisgarh that we have prepared, both our tribal dominated Bastar and Surguja divisions along with entire Chhattisgarh will play a leading role. Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai discussed with all the public representatives and inquired about the development works going on in their area. He asked to complete the works related to basic facilities for the citizens on priority and to monitor it continuously. The Chief Minister said that we will continue the development works as per our vision.
Surguja will emerge on the tourism map, emphasis on improving transport facilities through the network of roads
Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai had a special discussion on the possibilities of tourism in the Surguja region in the meeting. He said that we have taken big steps to promote tourism in Chhattisgarh. We are trying to get Surguja a special place on the tourism map in the country. He said that recently regular flight service has started from Ambikapur Airport, which will increase civil facilities as well as promote tourism. The Chief Minister talked about working for better transport facilities in the entire Surguja division. He said that to make traffic smooth, Surguja will be connected to other areas through better roads. Transport facilities will improve with the network of roads and this will also lead to rapid development of Surguja.

Laxmi Rajwade, MP Shri Chintamani Maharaj, MLA Shri Bhaiyalal Rajwade, MLA Shri Ram Kumar Toppo, MLA Shri Rajesh Agarwal, MLA Smt. Uddeshwari Pankra, MLA Smt. Raimuni Bhagat, MLA Smt. Shakuntala Porte, MLA Smt. Gomti Sai, MLA Shri Prabodh Minj, MLA Shri Bhulan Singh Marawi and officials were present in the meeting.
