Chief Minister announces Rs 5 crore for the grand bronze statue of Bhaktin Mata Rajim
Raipur : Rajim is the confluence of Shaiv and Vaishnav traditions. It was at this holy place of Rajim that Lord Shri Ram established Kuleshwar Mahadev and worshipped him. This area is famous all over the country due to the Triveni Sangam of Sondur, Pairi and Mahanadi. Rajim city is famous as Prayagraj of Chhattisgarh. The Mahanadi flowing from here is called Papamochani Ganga. Rajim is named after Rajim Bhaktin Mata. Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai said this while addressing the program organized on the occasion of Bhaktin Mata Rajim Jayanti organized by Sahu Samaj in Rajim today.
Chief Minister Shri Sai said that it is a matter of pride for all of us that we have gathered today on the land where Lord Shri Ram set his feet with Mother Sita. Mother Sita worshipped Mahadev here and established Kuleshwar Mahadev from sand itself. He said that the Sahu community cherishes the memory of the sacrifice and penance set by Rajim Bhaktin Mata. Rajim Bhaktin Mata's birth anniversary promotes social unity. It also inspires people to follow her ideals. The state and the country also get strengthened when the society unites. On this occasion, he announced Rs 5 crore for the installation of a grand bronze statue of Bhaktin Mata in Rajim.
Chief Minister Shri Sai said that the Sahu community is a progressive community. This community is progressing in business and industry along with agriculture. The Sahu community also cherishes its heritage. He said that the country's successful Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, who considers 140 crore Indians as his family and works 18 hours a day for their welfare with the policy of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas and Sabka Prayas, is the pride of your community. Chief Minister Shri Sai said that the grand Kumbh Kalpa was started in Rajim during the time of the then Chief Minister Dr. Raman Singh. The previous government had reduced its dignity. Our government has restored the dignity of Rajim Kumbh Kalpa. Last year, saints from all over the country gathered at Rajim Kumbh. This year too, we are going to organize a grand Rajim Kumbh Kalpa.
Chief Minister Shri Sai said that a large number of mothers and sisters are present in the program. We have worked towards women empowerment through Mahtari Vandan Yojana. Recently, the eleventh installment of this scheme has been transferred to the accounts of mothers and sisters. On the first date, the amount of this scheme reaches the mobile of mothers and sisters and their faces light up. This helps them in organizing their budget. Whenever I discuss this with them, they tell me very happily how much this scheme has changed their lives. In the true sense, then it feels that we are realizing Atal ji's dream of good governance in Chhattisgarh.
Deputy Chief Minister Shri Arun Sao said that during his stay in America, he saw how the children of Sahu community are waving the flag of Chhattisgarh even in foreign countries. With their hard work and determination, the people of Sahu community are raising the name of the community in the country and the world. Union Minister of State Shri Tokhan Sahu said that the release of a postage stamp in the name of Bhakt Mata Karma is a matter of pride for all of us. He said that Karma Mata dedicated her life to the society, her thoughts and ideals can lead to the development of the society, so it is important that all of us imbibe those thoughts.
Chief Minister worshiped Mata Rajim and Lord Shri Rajiv Lochan
Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai reached Rajim and worshiped Bhaktin Mata Rajim and Lord Rajiv Lochan in the Lord Rajiv Lochan temple with due rituals and prayed for the well-being and prosperity of the people of the state. On this occasion, Deputy Chief Minister Shri Arun Sao, Union Minister of State Shri Tokhan Sahu, MP Smt. Roopkumari Chaudhary, MLAs Motilal Sahu, Rohit Sahu, Ishwar Sahu, Sandeep Sahu along with many public representatives and a large number of dignitaries were present.
