Kudargarh Mandir Dham included in 'Prasad Yojana': Central government will provide help for development

Raipur : Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai has said that Kudargarh Mahotsav is a unique confluence of faith, devotion and tradition. The state government is making planned efforts to promote tourism in the state. On the proposal of the state government, Kudargarh Mandir Dham, the main center of faith of this region, has been included in the 'Prasad Yojana' of the Central Government. This will provide help from the Central Government for the development here. Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai said this while addressing the closing ceremony of Kudargarh Mahotsav organized on the occasion of Chaitra Navratri at Kudargarh Dham in Surajpur district today.
Hospital to start in Kudargarh Dham
Chief Minister Shri Sai performed the Bhoomi Pujan of the ropeway to be built in Kudargarh Dham. This ropeway will be ready in two years. On this occasion, he made many important announcements for the development of Kudargarh Dham. He announced construction works worth Rs 1 crore 50 lakh including Rs 50 lakh each for construction of administrative building and fully equipped community building and Rs 50 lakh for construction of stairs and drinking water facility in Gadhwatiyan Mata Mandir. During this, contracts were signed for ropeway construction. Apart from this, the Chief Minister also announced construction of a hospital in the Dham, so that devotees and local people can get better health facilities.
Bhoomi Pujan-Foundation stone laying of works worth more than Rs 105 crore
Chief Minister Shri Sai, while addressing the devotees, prayed to Mata Kudargadhi for peace, prosperity and well-being of the state and wished the devotees a Happy Chaitra Navratri. On this occasion, he performed Bhoomi Pujan and inaugurated 43 development works worth more than Rs 105 crore. Chief Minister Shri Sai flagged off the Sushasan Rath for Bhatgaon Assembly constituency, which will promote the schemes of the state government.
Rs 148 crore approved under Swadesh Darshan Yojana for Bhoramdev temple
Chief Minister Shri Sai said that religious tourism is being promoted in the state. On the proposal of the state government, the Government of India has approved Rs 148 crore under the Swadesh Darshan Yojana for the development of the famous Bhoramdev temple of Chhattisgarh. A plan has been made on the lines of Char Dham for the development of five Shaktipeeths of the state, Kudargarh of Surajpur, Chandrahasini of Chandrapur, Maa Mahamaya of Ratanpur, Maa Bamleshwari of Dongargarh and Maa Danteshwari Shaktipeeth of Dantewada. Tirtha Darshan Yojana has been restarted by the state government.
Under this scheme, senior citizens above 60 years of age as well as widows, abandoned women and disabled people will get the benefit of pilgrimage. He said that eligible citizens were appealed to take full advantage of this scheme. Chief Minister Shri Sai said that under Shri Ramlala Ayodhya Dham Darshan Yojana, more than 22 thousand devotees visited Ramlala. He said that during the Kumbh in Prayagraj, a pavilion of Chhattisgarh was built, where free arrangements were made for accommodation and food for the devotees of Chhattisgarh.
Chief Minister Shri Sai, while mentioning the efforts being made towards making the state Naxal-free, said that along with rehabilitation schemes in Naxal-affected areas, inclusive development is also being promoted. Basic facilities like education, health, roads, electricity, drinking water are being provided in the interior areas. People are being linked to employment. Under the Niyad Nellnar Scheme in Bastar region, along with basic facilities in Naxal-affected areas, villagers are being benefited from the schemes of the Central and State Government. Programs like Bastar Olympics and Bastar Pandum were also organized here.
On this occasion, Agriculture Minister Shri Ramvichar Netam, Food Minister Shri Dayal Das Baghel, Women and Child Development Minister Smt. Laxmi Rajwade and MP Shri Chintamani Maharaj also addressed the gathering. While wishing the people present on Navratri, they wished for the prosperity, peace and progress of the state. Also, while congratulating for the construction of ropeway, he called it a historic initiative.
A glimpse of folk culture was seen in the closing ceremony
A glimpse of Chhattisgarh's rich folk culture was seen in the closing ceremony. During the program, devotional music enthralled the devotees. The atmosphere was made devotional by presenting bhajans dedicated to Mata Kudargarh in the program. On this occasion, Chief Minister Shri Sai visited the stalls set up on the schemes of various departments and distributed beneficiary-oriented material to the beneficiaries.
MLA Shri Bhulan Singh Maravi, Smt. Shakuntala Porte, Smt. Rajni Shankar Tripathi, Forest Development Corporation and Kudargarh Dham Trust President Shri Ramsevak Paikra along with many dignitaries and devotees were present in the program.
