Chief Minister watched Chhattisgarhi film 'Suhag' at Magneto Mall, said - Film City will give new horizon to Chhattisgarhi cinema
Raipur : Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai today reached the cinema hall of Magneto Mall in the capital Raipur to watch the special screening of Chhattisgarhi film 'Suhag'. Appreciating the acting of Padma Shri awardee and Dharsiwa MLA Shri Anuj Sharma, who played the lead role in the film, the Chief Minister said that I had launched the trailer of this film, and today I am extremely happy to see how beautifully Chhattisgarhi cinema is connected to its roots.

On this occasion, Cabinet Minister Shri Shyam Bihari Jaiswal, MP Smt. Roopkumari Chaudhary, MLA Shri Kiran Dev Singh, along with many public representatives and newly appointed chairpersons of commissions / boards were present.

Chief Minister Shri Sai said that 'Suhag' is a family film and films based on family values have always had a special place in India. He recalled that after the formation of Chhattisgarh state, the first Chhattisgarhi film 'Mor Chhaihaan Bhuihaan' was also a family film, and now 'Suhaag' is carrying forward the same tradition. The rich culture of Chhattisgarh, dignity of relationships and simplicity of family life have been beautifully presented through the film.

Shri Sai also praised the talents of Chhattisgarhi cinema and said that our artists, directors and the entire unit work with hard work and dedication, hence Chhattisgarhi cinema is touching the hearts of the audience today.
The Chief Minister said that the construction of Film City proposed by the State Government will provide better infrastructure, better opportunities and national platform to Chhattisgarhi cinema. This will promote local talents and the cultural identity of the state will become more strong.
