Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai - Inclusive development and good governance will create strong Chhattisgarh: Many important announcements made for the overall development of Pandaria
Raipur : Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai on Sunday reiterated the Chhattisgarh government’s resolve to bring all corners of the state into the mainstream of development, aligning efforts with the policies of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Addressing the Mahtari Alankaran Samman ceremony in Pandaria constituency via video conferencing, the CM said the government is focused on ensuring good governance and rooting out corruption.
"Development schemes are being fast-tracked, especially in rural areas, to strengthen infrastructure and ensure access to basic facilities," Sai said.
During the address, the CM rolled out a slew of announcements aimed at boosting the region’s infrastructure and connectivity. These include, establishment of a new sub-tehsil in Ranveerpur, launch of a college in Birendra Nagar from the next academic session, construction of a 250-seat Nalanda campus in Pandaria, a new building for the college in Kunda, a new municipality building in Pandaria and widening of a 2.1 km stretch of NH-130A to four lanes.
He also inaugurated and performed ‘bhoomi pujan’ for infrastructure projects worth Rs 72 crore.
Highlighting digital and administrative reforms, Sai said that Atal Digital Suvidha Kendras have been set up in 1,460 Gram Panchayats to improve rural banking access, with plans to cover all panchayats in the coming year. He added that the property registration process has been simplified, made more transparent, and cost-effective to ease public access.
Chief Minister Shri Sai, while appreciating the efforts of regional MLA Smt. Bhavna Bohra, said that the launch of 5 free bus services for girl students is not just a facility, but a historic step towards the confidence and empowerment of daughters.
Addressing the program, Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh said that this is a historic day for Pandaria, when development works worth Rs 72 crore are being inaugurated and 5 free buses for girls are being started. This is a unique initiative of its kind in Chhattisgarh.
Deputy Chief Minister Shri Vijay Sharma said that development in the state is no longer limited to urban areas, but is reaching every village and region equally. The coming time will be a new chapter of progress of Chhattisgarh.
Lok Sabha MP Shri Santosh Pandey said that this initiative will prove to be important for the education and empowerment of daughters. The free bus facility will give more strength to the girl students to realize their dreams.
Regional MLA Smt. Bhavna Bohra informed that service of free bus operation have been increased to eight earlier three buses. This service will be a support for the girl students studying in the colleges of Pandaria, Pandatarai, Pipariya, Sahaspur Lohara and Kawardha. She said that in the last one and a half years, schemes worth more than Rs 600 crore have been approved in the Pandaria assembly constituency. Harinala bridge, bypass and many much-awaited works have now gained momentum.
Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh and Home Minister Shri Vijay Sharma joined the program virtually. MP Shri Santosh Pandey, MLA Smt. Bhavna Bohra and many public representatives and officials were present in the function organized at PM Shri Swami Atmanand Government School Campus, Pandaria.
