At the Bhent-Mulaqat programme held in Bade Dongar area of Keshkal constituency today, farmer Ratiram complained to Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel that the stop dam built in his village Jugaani for irrigation has collapsed within just two years of construction and because of this, as many as 600 farmers are unable to irrigate their lands. Chief Minister directed the officials concerned to investigate the collapse of stop dam on Bhavardeeg Nala and also announced the construction of the new stop dam. Farmers also requested Chief Minister to establish maize factory in their village. They told that as a result of Government’s efforts to promote crops alternate to paddy, farmers have started cultivating maize on a large-scale, and hence a factory should be established for processing of this huge yield of maize. Farmers also demanded opening of a cooperative bank branch in the village. It is noteworthy that under State Government’s justice oriented schemes, financial aids are being directly transfered into the bank accounts of the beneficiaries. Because of which, the need for a proper banking system has further increased. On the occasion, Chief Minister announced opening of a branch of cooperative bank in Bade Dongar. Chief Minister told the farmers that the government is continuously working towards building a strong infrastructure so as to provide fair value of the produce to the farmers. On the occasion, Minister-in-charge Mr. Kawasi Lakhma, Member of Rajya Sabha Mrs. Phoolo Devi Netam, Bastar MP Mr. Deepak Baij, Keshkal MLA Mr. Santram Netam and other public representatives.

Chief Minister inspected Bade Dongar Sub-Tehsil-

Chief Minister had announced the formation of sub-tehsil in Bade Dongar on January 27 last year, and from the very next month, the official work for implementation of this announcement was commenced. Today, during his visit to Bade Dongar under Bhent-Mulaqat Abhiyan, Chief Minister inspected the sub-tehsil office. He inquired about the cases registered and gave instructions to ensure resolution of all the cases within the stipulated time frame. On this occasion, Chief Minister personally handed over e-shram card, health card, Aadhar card to the beneficiaries.

During his visit, 39 villagers of Amgaon demanded electricity supply for their irrigation pumps. Chief Minister directed the officials concerned to provide electricity connections for their irrigation pumps. People of OBC category from Korai Gram Panchayat told Chief Minister about not having received the 'patta'. Chief Minister directed the Collector to provide them Patta as per rules.

As soon as the market opens, Mobile Medical Vehicle are made available

When Chief Minister asked about the availability of mobile medical vans for Haat Bazars,  Asmati of Baangoli stood up and said that we always find the mobile medical van available when we reach the market. As soon as the haat-bazaar opens, the mobile medical van is found ready to provide good treatment and free of cost medicines. Girija Bai of Urandabeda told that she receives the treatment and the medicines free of cost from mobile vans at haat-bazaars.

Loan waiver has opened a path of progress for farmers

Farmer Shankarlal Shardul told that the loan waiver provided by Bhupesh government has opened a way for his progress. The burden of debt earlier had become the cause of stress and tension for him. Chief Minister, soon after your government came into power, Rs five lakh worth of my loan was waived. Then I received a good rate of my produce and then I could focus on farming work with more enthusiasm and relief.  Presently, I own two Mahindra tractors and my farming work is flourishing.

Important announcements made by Chief Minister

On the occasion, Chief Minister Mr. Baghel announced upgrading of  the primary health center of Bade Dongar to community health center. Besides opening a branch of Co-operative Bank at Badedongar, Chief Minister announced opening of Swami Atmanand English Medium School in Kongud, Farasgaon. Chief Minister also announced the construction of Mangal Bhawan (function hall) and construction of a bridge across the Nala en route on Ghotiamunda Chandabeda road. He also announced the completion of the unfinished work in Danteshwari temple of Bade Dongar, and the new works proposed in the temple were also approved. New school buildings were also announced for Shankarpur, Kumhar Badgaon, Pandeyathgaon, Chingnar, Hirri, Bhandar Seoni, Manjhiathgaon. He also announced the construction of a culvert on Jaitpuri to Girola road.
