Raipur : Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai visited the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Raipur on December 9 to meet eminent writer and Jnanpith Award recipient Shri Vinod Kumar Shukla, who is currently undergoing treatment there. The Chief Minister prayed for his speedy recovery and enquired about his health condition from the medical team. He also directed officials to provide “the best possible medical care" to Shri Shukla.
Chief Minister Shri Sai said that Shri Vinod Kumar Shukla is an “invaluable treasure of Indian literature.” He added that Shri Shukla’s creativity, sensitivity, and his profound expression through simple language have brought pride to both the nation and the state.
On this occasion, the Chief Minister’s Media Advisor Shri Pankaj Jha and Chhattisgarh Sahitya Akademi Chairman Shri Shashank Sharma were present.
