Invitation Extended for Three-Day Guruparv Marking 269th Birth Anniversary of Baba Guru Ghasidas
Raipur : Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai met a delegation of the Satnami Vikas Parishad, Sarangarh, at his residence office here on Monday. Skill Development Minister Guru Khushwant Saheb was also present during the meeting.
The delegation invited Chief Minister to attend the three-day Guruparv 2025 as chief guest, being organized to mark the 269th birth anniversary of Baba Guru Ghasidas. They informed him that the festival, scheduled for December 18, 19 and 20, will draw large participation from members of the Satnami community, and will serve as a grand celebration of the community’s faith, unity and cultural heritage.
Chief Minister Shri Sai graciously accepted the invitation and said the Satnami community has consistently enriched Chhattisgarh’s social, cultural and spiritual fabric. The ideals of Guru Baba Ghasidas—truth, non-violence and equality—continue to provide moral strength and direction to society. Joining such a sacred celebration, he said, is both an honor and a privilege. He described the Guruparv as an inspirational event that binds the community together and carries forward its guiding values.
The delegation included MLA Shri Dommanlal Korsewada, former MLA Smt. Kerabai Manhar, and members of the Satnami Vikas Parishad including President Shri B. D. Bhardwaj, Vice-President Shri Ramesh Anant, Smt. Bhanuprabha Jolhe, Shri Krishna Ajgale, Shri Tejeshwar Singh Ratre and Shri Rohit Mahilang.
