CM Shri Vishnu Deo Sai gives on-the-spot approval during inspection of boys’ ashram
Interacts with schoolchildren, urges them to focus on studies and sports as well

Raipur : Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai on Friday visited the boys’ ashram at Kurushnar village in the Abujhmad region, where he interacted with students and reviewed the arrangements at the residential facility. Acting on a demand raised by the students, the Chief Minister approved the construction of additional classrooms on the spot and issued necessary directions to officials. He also inspected the fair price shop at the village. Revenue Minister Shri Tank Ram Verma, Forest Minister Shri Kedar Kashyap and several other public representatives were present on the occasion.

Interacting with the students, CM Shri Sai urged them to study diligently and bring pride to their parents as well as the state and the nation. He asked a student residing at the ashram, Ramji, about his future aspirations. Ramji replied that he wished to become a teacher. Appreciating his goal, the Chief Minister encouraged him to work hard and focus on his studies. Similarly, student Sop Singh recited multiplication tables for the Chief Minister. During the interaction, Aditya, a Class II student, asked the Chief Minister how he felt about going to school ? In response, CM Shri Sai said that he enjoyed going to school and advised children to devote ample time to studies in their childhood, as education is essential to becoming a successful person.

The Chief Minister also enquired about the availability of textbooks and said that along with academics, students should actively participate in sports and other physical activities. On the occasion, school children briefed the Chief Minister about models related to space missions. CM Shri Sai congratulated all the students who presented the models and encouraged them to study well and strive to become scientists.

Inspection of fair price shop
Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai visited the government fair price shop at Kurushnar to assess the ground-level implementation of government schemes. Ration card holders present at the shop informed the Chief Minister that they were receiving their rations regularly and on time.
The Chief Minister interacted cordially with Mehro, Dashri, Tilo and Sunita of Dutakhar; Rajni Bai and Anita of Gumiyabeda; and Veena Bai of Kandadi village, and also enquired about their family members. They informed him that they were receiving rice every month and that the quality was good.
During the inspection, the Chief Minister reviewed the availability of stock, maintenance, cleanliness, stock registers and storage capacity at the fair price shop. Notably, the government fair price shop caters to 12 nearby villages—Alwar, Kandadi, Kurushnar, Kodoli (Viran), Gumiyabeda, Jivlapadar, Arsagarh, Dutakhar, Kankal, Jampara, Kawadwar and Nadipara—and provides rations to 408 ration card holders.
