State Government transferred Rs. 15,595 Crore So Far Under the Mahtari Vandan Yojana in Chhattisgarh
Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai Releases 24th Instalment of Mahtari Vandan Yojana from Narayanpur
Raipur : Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai released the 24th instalment of the Chhattisgarh Government’s Mahtari Vandan Yojana on 30 January at a state-level programme held in Narayanpur. On this occasion, a total amount of Rs. 641.34 crore was transferred through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) into the bank accounts of 68,39,592 eligible women beneficiaries across the state.

Since the launch of the scheme, a total amount of Rs. 14,954.42 crore has already been transferred directly into the bank accounts of women beneficiaries through 23 instalments. This system has ensured “financial transparency and efficiency” while emerging as a strong and impactful initiative in the direction of women's empowerment.

With the release of Rs. 641.34 crore as the 24th instalment by Chief Minister Shri Sai, the total amount disbursed under the Mahtari Vandan Yojana has increased to Rs. 15,595.77 crore. This reflects the state government’s “strong commitment towards women's welfare and empowerment” and clearly demonstrates that lakhs of women across Chhattisgarh are directly benefiting from the scheme in a transparent and timely manner. In Narayanpur district alone, Rs. 2.72 crore has been transferred to 27,272 beneficiary women.
Forest Minister Shri Kedar Kashyap, Higher Education Minister Shri Tank Ram Verma, along with local public representatives and a large number of villagers, were present on the occasion.
