If dairy farmers collectively do their work by forming associations and collect milk with the help of the association, then the Government can arrange the purchase of dairy through collection centers. The Chief Minister said so to a farmer from Charama, Mr. Bhushan Sahu, during the Bhent Mulaqat programme held in Gitpahar in Bhanupratappur Vidhansabha. Bhushan told the Chief Minister that he is involved in the business of dairy farming. Milk purchase centers in the state and purchase of milk at Government approved prices would have made things easier for us. The Chief Minister answered that if the associations start this initiative, then the Government can consider opening collection centers after examining the case so that the milk can be sold easily through these centers. The Chief Minister, on this occasion, told the farmers of Gitpahar that it is always beneficial to work through associations because many schemes of the Government have been designed to encourage these associations. The Chief Minister performed the Bhoomipujan and inauguration of 83 Devgudis worth Rs. 5 Crore 19 Lakh. He also worshipped Shitala Mata and prayed for the happiness and prosperity of the state. .
