Construction of a School building in Medo Higher Secondary School to be open in Kaneychur
On the request of Bhavna Sahu, a divyang student, and resident of village Kaneychur, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel today, in the Janchaupal organized in Bhanbera of Kanker District, announced the opening of a Higher Secondary School in Kaneychur. Bhawna is an epitome of strength and she has the utmost dedication to attain education, She writes with her legs. Bhawna told the Chief Minister that she has studied up to class 10th in her village School but due to her disability she is unable to commute to other villages for higher education, So She requested Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel to open Higher Secondary School in Kaneychur to enable local students to pursue further studies. On hearing her grievance, the Chief Minister immediately announced the opening of the Higher Secondary School at Kaneychur.
In the Janchaupal organized in Durgukondal of Kanker District under the Chief Minister’s state-wide ‘Bhent Mulaqat Campaign’,a middle school student namely, Vandana Dewan drew Mr. Baghel’s attention to the problems being faced by the students due to lack of a School building. Hearing this, the Chief Minister immediately announced the construction of a new school building. The High School of Medo has been functional since 2013 but there was no school building and students had to face extreme weather conditions of sun, rain, etc. to attend classes without a building.
The sensitivity of Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel can be evidently seen as he announced the construction of a new building for Government Higher Secondary School Medo within half an hour of hearing about the school girl’s demand. After the meeting, the students of Medo School expressed their gratitude to the Chief Minister by presenting him with bouquets.
