The Chief Minister tried the Mahua Laddu, and appreciated the taste, congratulated the progress of the self-help- group,

 Ishwari neither speaks nor listens, but, with her skills,she prepares delicious laddus from Mahua.

 Ishwari is unlike any other woman, but she is way ahead of ordinary women in regard to achieving success. Divyang Ishwari Uikey, a resident Bhanbera, she neither speaks nor listens, but she prepares delicious Mahua Laddu with her skills. Ishwari is unable to hear and speak and her husband is mostly away from home due to which she used to face problems in her day-to-day life. They used to collect forest produce earlier, but Ishwari Uikey has now joined a Self Help group and does the work of making Mahua Laddu. Women working with Ishwari Uikey informed that Ishwari could not hear any word but she learned the tasks very swiftly. Women told that while working Ishwari takes very good care of other members of the group. She also scolds the members of the group when the size of the laddu is small.

The Chief Minister tasted the Mahua Laddu and appreciated the taste, congratulated the group after hearing the progress achieved by them.

Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel visited the Mahua Laddu manufacturing unit run by Disha Women's Self-Help Group in Bhanbera village of Bhanupratappur Vidhan Sabha and observed the manufacturing of Mahua Laddu. The Chief Minister enquired about the method, time and cost of making laddus from the women of the group. Women's group informed him that Mahua Laddu is very tasty and full of nutritional values. They further informed “We prepare laddus as per the consumer demand. The demand for laddus is highest in the month of Teej-festival, we earn 10-12 thousand rupees per month for each member. Apart from this, we also do other household chores. Women told him that there is a demand for laddus in other states including our state. At present we have also sold 25 kg laddus in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.” The Chief Minister congratulated them for this endeavor.

Mamta Jain,another member of the group told that she has husband and two children in her family. After joining the unit of making Mahua Laddu , she is getting good and stable income. Last Diwali, she bought clothes for her husband and children. They were very happy. The members of the women's group told that they used to do the work of picking Mahua first, then in the year 2020 with the help of the Forest Department, they took training in making Laddu from Mahua and then the group was formed. There are 11 members in the group, they sell laddus worth approximately 6 lakh rupees in one season. The members are receiving an income of about one to one and a half lakh rupees.

Mahua Laddu and materials made from forest produce were presented to the Chief Minister. 

Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel visited the Mahua Laddu manufacturing unit run by Disha Women's Self-Help Group in Bhanbera village of Bhanupratappur Vidhan Sabha and observed the manufacturing of Mahua Laddu. During this, women also presented Mahua Laddu and materials made from forest produce to Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel.
