Chief Minister said farmer’s satisfaction is our top priority
Appeal to make and use compost manure for soil fertility

Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel visited Podgaon village of Antagarh constituency where he interacted with the villagers. The Chief Minister announced the posting of Additional Collector and Additional Superintendent of Police in Antagarh on people’s demand. He also announced the construction of a Tehsil office at Antagarh.

The Chief Minister announced the widening of Antagarh Podgaon to Temrupani road as well as upgrading Amabeda Primary Health Center to a Community Health centre. He announced the construction of a model road from Antagarh Golden Chowk to the Electricity Department Office, Gram Panchayat Bandapal Boys-Girls Middle School Ashram, upgrading Sub-Health Center Bhainsasur as Primary Health Center, a new Anganwadi in Gram Panchayat Bade Gopal, construction of a culvert at Gudrapara and a new building for Higher Secondary School Podgaon.
          The Chief Minister offered prayers to ‘Chhattisgarh Mahtari’ in Podgaon. During the discussion on agriculture, a farmer named Sonu of Amabeda put his point in front of the Chief Minister. Sonu said after the implementation of  Rajiv Gandhi Nyay Yojana we all are getting a good price for our crops. Sonu thanked him for the implementation of farmer-centric schemes that have been started by the present government. “When I came to know that you are coming to our village, I have brought black rice grown in my fields for you”, he added.

       During the meeting, Talesh of Sarendi village said. “Chief Minister Ji, you kept your promise. My loan was waived off and I also got the benefit of Nyay scheme. Whenever I need money, the Nyaya scheme amount takes away my worry. Happily reacting to this, the Chief Minister said that farmer’s satisfaction is our top priority. The farmer's loans were waived off and they are getting a good price for their produce, now they can take decisions for the betterment of agriculture. The Chief Minister told the farmers that the Bardana Bag factory was closed during Corona, despite that we kept our promise of buying paddy from all the registered farmers and set a record by purchasing paddy of 98 lakh metric tonnes.

The Chief Minister said that given the shortage of chemical fertilizers, we have increased the production of vermicompost at Gauthans with priority. For the fertility of the land, produce more compost manure and use it in the fields. On this occasion, the Chief Minister dedicated the temple of Tongraj Baba to the public. MLA Mr.Anoop Nag and Advisor to Chief Minister Rajesh Tiwari and other public representatives were present on the occasion.
        Blood Banks make Sickling Treatment Easier - Work that has been done for improving the health infrastructure in community and primary health centers is now reflecting at the grassroots level. The Chief Minister asked the villagers about the availability of health facilities. Bindu Kamde said ”My son is suffering from sickling disease for the past three years. The government has opened a blood bank in Antagarh hospital. I have got a health assistance card under the Dr. Khubchand Baghel scheme, through which free blood has been made available for my son”. Old-aged Jetram Baghel said that “Haat Bazar is held on Sundays, whenever I feel sick, I get my investigation done. This is a very useful facility that has been started by the government”. Kumari Uike told that a blue car comes from Haat Bazaar and we get the treatment as well as medicine free of cost.
        Earned Rs.80 Thousand by selling organic manure - Laxmi Gawade of Podgaon told that her group is making organic manure in Gauthan. So far 180 quintals of fertilizers have been sold and they have earned a profit of Rs.80 thousand. The Chief Minister said that Gauthans are being developed as centers of livelihood activities, as your activities expand, the income of the group will increase.
