Agriculture College to be open in Pakhanjur, Bande gets the status of a tehsil

 Chief Minister announced the establishment of Swami Atmanand English Medium School in Koylibeda and the renovation of Paralkot reservoir.

Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, who reached Pakhanjur of Antagarh Vidhan Sabha for the meeting, made several important announcements like the establishment of an Agricultural College in Pakhanjur and giving tehsil status to Bande. He also made announcements to open a  Swami Atmanand English Medium School in Koylibeda and the renovation of Paralkot reservoir. Along with this, he announced the construction of a 4 km road of the village Gaurav Path in Pakhanjur, a sub-health center and a co-ed ashram in Kandari, help of Divyang Nitai Mandal and a special camp to issue ration card was announced. Somen, a youth from Pakhanjur, told the chief minister that earlier the city's stadium was named after Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose. Fifteen years ago it was renamed after Pandit Shyama Prasad Mhukerjee. “We want that it should be renamed after Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose.” The crowd present supported Somen's idea by clapping. After this, the Chief Minister announced to name the stadium after Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose.

Somen himself told the Chief Minister that Kherkatta Dam has been built on Paralkot reservoir in the area but the condition of the dam is not good. The dam is in dire need of repair and restoration. The restoration of the dam will provide water and irrigation facilities to many villages in the area. Chief Minister Mr. Baghel took an immediate decision this time and approved the deepening of Paralkot reservoir and renovation of Kherkatta dam. On this occasion, the Chief Minister also garlanded the statue of Paralkot Zamindar and martyr Shri Gaind Singh. The Chief Minister was welcomed with the traditional Halbi folk song Dhankul. A  traditional musical instrument called Todi was presented to him. In addition, tribal women presented Kuta Chivda,Chaar, Nagar Kanda, Kochai Kanda, Dang Kanda and Keu Kanda to the Chief Minister. The Chief Minister said that "I have eaten a lot of Keu Kanda throughout my stay". Adviser to Chief Minister Rajesh Tiwari and Antagarh MLA Anoop Nag and other representatives were also present on the occasion.

After arriving at Narnarayan Ashram, Mr. Baghel enjoyed Bengali cuisine – The Chief Minister also reached Nar Narayan Seva Ashram premises during this period. Here he was welcomed with the sounds of Ulu and conch shell and Khol (drum) according to the local Banga tradition. The Chief Minister offered prayers to Swami Satyanand Paramahansa Devji's Samadhi, Radha-Krishna and Shiva Linga at Nar-Narayan Seva Mandir. He presented ocher clothes to the monks here and also planted a Kadamba plant in the ashram premises. Here he was served Bengali food. This included the Bengali dishes Kuli Pitha, Pathi Shiptha,  Labra, Mango Chutney, Kheer and Kumhra Bhaji.

Special camps will be started to make ration cards- The Chief Minister enquired about the problems related to ration cards. Vinay told that his parents have got a ration card, but his name has been cut, and new card is not being made. The Chief Minister directed the Collector to get the ration card made soon after checking the eligibility. Along with this, he also directed to organize special camps for ration cards.

 If the loan is waived, the bore was dug twice - the farmers spoke to the Chief Minister. Sushil Mandal told that he has 4 acres of land. Paddy worth Rs.1.25 lakh has been sold and he has received a good income. A loan of 1Lakh has been waived, due to which two bores have been dug. Babita Mandal said that “you have solved the problem doctor in the Irpaanar area, thank you very much for this”. The Chief Minister also inquired about the feedback related to the implementation of all other development schemes.
