Chief Minister inaugurated and performed Bhoomipujan of development works worth Rs 124 crore for Kanker assembly constituency

Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Monday inaugurated and performed Bhoomipujan of 72 development works worth Rs 124.48 crore at a programme organized in the rest house of Kanker district headquarters. This includes Bhoomipujan of 60 development works worth Rs 74.51 crore and 12 development works worth Rs 49.96 crore.
Chief Minister performed ‘Bhoomipujan’ of 13 development works of Public Health Engineering Department worth Rs 8.43 crore, 04 development works of Water Resources Department worth Rs 26.71 crores, 17 works of Public Works Department worth Rs 31.53 crores, road construction in Dumali costing Rs 93.07 lakhs under Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojna, 13 Anganwadi buildings to be built at a cost of Rs 2.24 crores under Urban Administration Department, construction of Ayush Polyclinic building worth Rs 2.38 crore by Chhattisgarh Medical Services Corporation, 11 ‘Devgudis’ at a cost of Rs 91.41 lakh under DMF fund along with other development works Rs 1.36 crore.
Besides, Mr. Baghel inaugurated 06 development works of District Construction Committee worth Rs 36.16 crore, beautification of Dandiya Talab done by Urban Administration Department at a cost of Rs 72.67 lakh, Nathianwagaon Annicut construction by Water Resources Department at a cost of Rs 3.25 crore, Kanker Tehsil Office building and Building for Maternal and Child Health Department constructed by Public Works Department at a cost of Rs 5.54 crore and, Integrated Facility Center constructed by Rural Engineering Services at a cost of Rs 3.76 crore and Gandhi Gram Kulgaon constructed at a cost of Rs 50 lakh.
