korea:  Chief Minister Mr.Bhupesh Baghel reached Patna village of the Baikunthpur constituency during the ‘Bhent-Mulaqat’ Campaign. He was accorded a warm welcome by the people including little children and villagers of Anganwadi Centre Karji. The little children present there sang the song “Hum bachcho se karte pyar, humare kaka shandar”. The Chief Minister showed his affection to a little girl Mahi Dhruv.

During the Jan-Chaupal in Patna, Mr.Ramlakhan Yadav of Sorga village told him that Haat Bazar clinic is providing free treatment and medicines near their house. This saves the money that we would be needed to spend on doctor's fees and medicines if they visit a hospital. He thanked the Chief Minister to launch this welfare-oriented scheme. A landless labourer Shanti told that she is getting the benefit of ‘Rajiv Gandhi Grameen Bhumiheen Krishi Mazdoor Nyay Yojana. She has bought a sewing machine with the amount received under this scheme. Congratulating and appreciating her, Chief Minister Mr.Baghel said that women are becoming self-reliant. During the interaction, Tejal Singh, a student of Swami Atmanand English Medium School, answered the Chief Minister's questions in English. Tejal told that she wants to become a doctor. In Atmanand School, students are getting a good environment for competitive examination preparation along with studying in English medium school free of cost.

Addressing the meeting he said that we are working thoroughly to increase the income of the people of the state. The government is working to put money in the people’s pockets and launched various schemes to increase the income of the farmers as well as the landless labourers. Women groups are also getting employment through Gauthan. Declaring support prices for minor forest produce and their processing will act as a value addition to the income of forest dwellers. Earlier, only seven minor forest produce was purchased on the support price, which has now been increased to 65. In the meeting, he took the feedback on various schemes and services that includes universal PDS, Ration-Card distribution, Suposhan Abhiyan, Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana, Godhan Nyay Yojana, Rajiv Gandhi Grameen Bhumiheen Krishi Mazdoor Nyay Yojana, Patta distribution under Forest Rights and Chief Minister's Haat-Bazaar Clinic Scheme.

The Chief Minister has made various announcements for the residents of the Baikunthpur area. In the meeting, he announced to give the status of Nagar Panchayat to Patna Gram Panchayat, opening of a Swami Atmanand English Medium School and a District Co-Operative Central Bank branch. He also announced the opening of a Swami Atmanand English Medium School and a new 20-bed hospital in Shivpur. He gave his approval to establish an Industrial Area in Baikunthpur. He also announced to start post-graduate classes in Zoology, Botany, Commerce, Economics and Hindi at Government Naveen Girls College in Baikunthpur. He also announced the establishment of a new power sub-station in Budhar village panchayat and the electrification of silk project centres of Badgaon and Urumduga in Baikunthpur.
