Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel on Wednesday left for his intensive state tour—“Bhent-Mulaqat”—from the Police Lines Helipad here. He will visit all 90 assembly constituencies of the state and will interact with common citizens, public representatives, and society heads to get direct feedback on the government schemes. The tour programme will begin from Balrampur district of Surguja division with Samri assembly constituency as the first stop. Today, Chief Minister will visit Kusmi, Shankargarh, and Bariyo villages falling under Samri assembly constituency and will spend the night at Rajpur.

“I was not able to interact with people for a long time due to Covid-19 pandemic. However, I got an opportunity to attend the meeting of social organizations last year. During this tour, I will directly interact with the villagers, prominent people, and public representatives to take feedback about the implementation of government schemes at the ground level. They give honest feedback and suggestions about what we can do better. I will try my best to spend maximum time with people”, said Chief Minister while interacting with media persons before leaving for his tour.

He added that he will also get information regarding good works being done in villages as well as the problems and challenges in rural areas. During his visit, Mr. Baghel will visit PDS shop, Panchayat office, Anganwadi center, health center, police station, Swami Atmanand English Medium School, and Nagar Panchayat office. District in-charge minister and regional MLA will also accompany him during his tour. Urban Administration and Development Minister Dr. Shiv Kumar Dahariya also left with the Chief Minister
