Mr. Baghel planted Jamun sapling in Mata Rajmohini Devi Samadhi premise in Govindpur today
Besides reviewing the implementation of schemes during his tours under 'Bhent-Mulaqat Abhiyan', Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel is planting a sapling every day. Today as well, he planted a sapling of Jamun plant in the premise of Gandhian social worker Padmashree Mata Rajmohini Devi in Govindpur.
It is noteworthy that State Government has included 'environment protection and conservation' as an important component in the strategy of governance to strengthen the rural economy. Chhattisgarh government is making consistent efforts to promote the cause of environment conservation through the schemes and programs such as Suraaji Gaon Yojana, Chief Minister's Tree Plantation Campaign, Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana, river bank plantation, plantation of fruit trees in the forests and others. Chief Minister Mr. Baghel is promoting the cause of environment conservation by planting sapling every day during Bhent-Mulaqat Abhiyan.
Mr. Baghel commenced his tour to Govindpur by paying floral tributes at the Samadhi of Mata Rajmohini Devi. He also met Rambai, the daughter of Mata Rajmohini Devi. Chief Minister prayed for the prosperity and progress of Chhattisgarh at Ram-Sita temple in the premise of of the samadhi. On the request of the members of Bapu Dharma Sabha Adivasi Seva Mandal at the samadhi site, Mr. Baghel accompanied them at the temple. In response to the demand of the members, Mr. Baghel gave instructions to the Collector to beautify the Samadhi premise, develop public facilities there and develop infrastructure for organizing the fair. Urban Administration and Development Minister Dr. Shiv Kumar Dahria and School Education Minister Dr. Prem Sai Singh Tekam were also present on the occasion.
