Bhent-Mulaqat Campaign: Chief Minister Mr.Bhupesh Baghel’s announcements in Rajpur village

Today, Chief Minister Mr.Bhupesh Baghel reached Rajpur village of Lailunga Assembly constituency of Raigarh district for the Bhent-Mulaqat campaign. He worshipped Lord Jagannath, Balabhadra and Mata Subhadra in the Shri Jagannath temple located in the Rajpur village and prayed for the happiness and prosperity of the state. He was welcomed by the local women who honoured him by offering a hat made of Kans grass and paddy. The Chief Minister also honoured these women by giving sarees to them. A Kadamba tree was planted on this occasion.

Major Announcements

During the program, the Chief Minister announced many developments works for the people of this area. Primary Health Center Rajpur will be upgraded to Community Health Centre, a new Primary Health Center will be established in Basantpur and Ghatgaon village, a new culvert will be constructed on Kharun river for Lailunga to Potra road, a new culvert will be constructed on Kharun river for Katangpara to Salihapara road, new rooms will be constructed in the Gahira Guru Rameshwar Government College, Lailunga and the number of seats will be increased in each stream, and a new indoor stadium will be constructed at Lailunga.

Chief Minister Mr.Bhupesh Baghel announced to rename the Higher Secondary and High School of village Rajpur after the late Shri Roopdhar Behera. It is noteworthy that the sons of Late Shri Roopdhar Behera, Late Shri Himsagar Behera and Late Shri Kirtan Prasad Behera, realizing the importance of education, donated about 6 acres of their private land for schools and schools are running here since 1986.

Mrs. Anjana Kujur of Lailunga told Mr. Baghel that her four-year-old son Yuvan had a hole in his heart since childhood and he could not be treated due to the family's financial condition, but at the initiative of the Chief Minister, this 4-year-old child has been successfully treated under Chirayu Yojana and today this child is completely healthy too. She thanked the Chief Minister for saving her son’s life.

Chief Minister Mr. Baghel asked how many families are getting 35 kg of rice, salt and sugar, on a reply everyone present there said yes in one voice. He said that the Chhattisgarh government is working in every way to put money in the pockets of the people and work for the livelihood of the people.

*State toppers of tenth board examination Muskan and Mayank were honoured by the Chief Minister*

Chief Minister Mr.Baghel felicitated Muskan Agarwal, a student of Swami Atmanand English Medium School Lailunga. She secured the third rank in the tenth Board Examination. Mayank Goyal who secured the fifth rank was also felicitated. On this occasion, he also took a selfie with the toppers and wished them a better future.

During the meeting, people witnessed his simplicity and soberness again. He instructed the security personnel to make arrangements for villagers who were drenched in the rain and made them allow to sit in front of him by removing his security cordon.

*When the student asked the Chief Minister about the secret of his smile*

Chandni Mishra, a student of Swami Atmanand English Medium School, Lailunga, asked the Chief Minister about the secret of the smile on his face, to which he replied, “Only human beings have got this quality, we should enjoy the work we are doing. If you are studying, you should enjoy reading. One should not be under stress, be happy and serve everyone, the joy that is in serving others is not found anywhere else”. The girl told the Chief Minister that there was a shortage of teachers in her school, to which the Chief Minister replied that the shortage problem will be resolved very soon.

During the meeting, Mrs. Sushila Paikara of the women's group told the Chief Minister that she had fulfilled her dream of travelling in an airplane through the income she earned by selling vermicompost, for which she also thanked the Chief Minister. The students of Swami Atmanand English Medium School while talking in English thanked the Chief Minister for opening the school in Lailunga. Chief Minister asked a question in Chhattisgarhi but Shalini Mishra, a student, answered his question in English.
