Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Sunday said that effective implementation of government schemes is visible on ground-level during his tour. Most of the officers-employees are working sincerely and disciplinary action is also being taken against those showing negligence in their work. Mr. Baghel was addressing a review meeting of officials held today at the SECL rest house in Bhatgaon as a part of his meet-and-greet campaign. Parliamentary Secretary Mr. Paras Nath Rajwade and Secretary to Chief Minister Mr. S. Bharathidasan were also present on the occasion.      

During his marathon tour of all assembly constituencies, Chief Minister is constantly reviewing the implementation of scheme in the respective area with the district officials after receiving feedback from the general public. Chairing the meeting today, Mr. Baghel reviewed the works of Revenue Department, Education, Forest and Health Departments. Students of Biharpur informed Chief Minister about irregularities in education yesterday. Taking cognizance of the complaint, Mr. Baghel immediately asked the District Education Officer to transfer the teachers there and send new teachers to ensure quality education. He instructed the revenue officials to take complaints related to land and encroachment seriously.

During the review of the works of the Health Department, the Chief Minister told in brief about the inspection of the hospital yesterday. He said that a complete record of medicines and other necessary stuffs should be kept in the hospital. Officials and employees should work with full efficiency, there is resentment among the people only when they do not do the work well or the work is not done within the stipulated time-limit.

Chief Minister Mr. Baghel also directed to provide forestland right certificates to the eligible tribal and non-tribal communities. He has asked the officials concerned to emphasize on water conservation and groundwater replenishment through ‘Narva’ programme to tackle water scarcity. He said that arrangements for rain water harvesting should also be made and district administration should prepare a detailed action plan for water management. Chief Minister Mr. Baghel directed to complete the work of Gauthans within stipulated time period.
