Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel made several important announcements related to development works and public facilities in the public meeting organized today at village Nawaparakala of Premnagar assembly constituency on the fifth day of his meet-and-greet campaign. Mr. Baghel announced construction of a new bridge over the Gej River at Nawaparakala Geji Marg. He announced opening of a sub-tehsil at Umeshwarpur for quick disposal of revenue cases and establishment of new power sub-station to solve the problem of low-voltage and uninterrupted power supply in Premnagar-Umeshwarpur area. 
Similarly, the Chief Minister has also announced to expand the facility of ‘Dev Puja’ in Chauri Pahad, construction of new building of Premnagar Higher Secondary School, approval of works under ‘Mukhyamantri Sugam Sadak Yojana’ and to set up solar-powered drinking water systems in the water-stressed villages. The Chief Minister said that irrigation facilities would be expanded through solar powered pumps wherever required.

Chief Minister Mr. Baghel said that I am on this state-wide tour to know the ground reality of the implementation government schemes, whether the public is getting its benefit or not. He said that forestland rights recognition certificates should be distributed to all the eligible people as per the rules by running a campaign. He said that for the first time after the formation of Chhattisgarh state, a record 98 lakh metric tonnes of paddy has been procured. Chhattisgarh is the first state in country procuring cow dung and procurement of cow urine is also in pipeline. We are also promoting the use of vermi compost in fields which will increase soil fertility and crop productivity. 

During the meet and greet campaign, President of Premnagar Development Block Sarpanch Union Mr. Pushpendra Markam thanked Chief Minister Mr. Baghel on behalf of the union for increasing the honorarium of Panchayat representatives and implementing welfare schemes for rural areas.

Expressing strong displeasure over the complaint made by the President of Sarpanch Union regarding taking commission in the works of Panchayat, the Chief Minister asked him to tell any particular complaint in this regard and assured strict action after investigation of the same. He said that complaints can be made to the EOW, police station or him or to the public representatives.

Yashoda got the benefit of ‘Mahatari Dular Yojana’

Ms Yashoda, a class X student of Nawaparakala, thanked the Chief Minister for starting the ‘Mahtari Dular Yojana’. Yashoda told that her mother had died due to Covid-19. Her studies continued without any interruption because of the benefits she received under this scheme. She said that she will join government service in future to fulfill her mother’s wish. She also thanked the Chief Minister for the decision taken by the state government exempting local domiciles of Chhattisgarh from paying examination fees for the entrance and recruitment examinations conducted by CG-Vyapam and the CG-PSC.

Rambhagat earned Rs.40 thousand  by selling cow dung

During the program, Navaparakala farmer Mr.Ram Bhagat told Chief Minister Baghel that he has earned an income of Rs.40 thousand this year by selling cow dung under the Godhan Nyay Yojana. When asked he told to Chief Minister that he has 15 to 20 cattle.

Action on the farmers complaint, Cheif  Minister instructed to conduct an investigation

A farmer from Kedarpur, Mr.Amarjit Kurrey, told the Chief Minister that they haven’t received the dairy subsidy yet. The Chief Minister assured him that his name and the name of his village have been noted down and action will be taken against those held accountable. The Chief Minister also instructed the officers to provide subsidies immediately.

The Chief Minister met women of the self-help group of Nawaparakala Gothan and took information about the brooms, baskets and other local products being made by the women. SHG's women expressed their gratitude to Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel for implementing Godhan Nyay Yojana. They told him that this scheme gives us the opportunity to earn and helped us to get financially empowered.

Chief Minister visits Nawaparakala Sub-Health Center

Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel today reached Nawaparakala village falling under Premnagar assembly constituency, on the fifth day of his meet-and-greet campaign (Bhent-Mulaqat Abhiyan). He inspected the  Sub-Health Center here and took stock of the medical facilities available, cleanliness in wards and medical equipment. The Chief Minister also took information from the officials of the health center about the medicines available,  number of institutional deliveries, and OPD facilities.

Chief Minister Mr.Bhupesh Baghel inaugurated and laid foundation stones of various works worth Rs.4 crore 27 lakh for three gram panchayats of Premnagar block. Mr.Baghel also laid a foundation stone for a new 'community building' at Premnagar worth Rs 2.5 crore and a pre-matric boys hostel building to be constructed worth Rs 1.5 crore in Kotaya village and inaugurated a primary health centre at Mahangai village worth Rs 27.2 lakh.
