South Asia Media Summit-2024"- Jointly organized meeting of SAARC Journalists Forum with United International University.

SAARC Journalist Forum is an international organization of journalists made up of journalists from eight SAARC countries. This organization periodically organizes International Journalists Summit every year in SAARC countries.

"South Asia Media Summit-2024" is likely to be held in Dhaka in February/March 2024.

Head of the Department of Journalism, Media and Communication of the University today for the purpose of jointly organizing the International A Summit with United International University.

A meeting of SAARC Journalist Forum leaders was held with Dr. Sheikh Mohammad Shafiul Islam.

SJF BD General Secretary Najma Sultana Neela along with Secretary General of SAARC Journalist Forum Central Committee Md. Abdur Rahman were present in the meeting.

Prof. Aftab Hussain, Head of the Department of Journalism Media and Communication of the University was also present,

Dr. Muhammad Abdur Razzaq and Abu Shahadat Director Public Relations.

In the meeting fruitful discussions were held on jointly organizing the South Asia Media Summit-2024.

It should be noted that last 10/11 January for two days Gautam Buddha University, Delhi and SAARC Journalist Forum jointly organized the International Journalist Conference. About three hundred journalists from SAARC countries were present at the media summit.
