Raipur : In the Rajyotsav program organized on the occasion of State Foundation Day, Chief Guest Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that the double engine governments are taking Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh on the path of development at a rapid pace. Dr Yadav praised the success of the public welfare schemes run in Chhattisgarh under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai and the campaign conducted against Maoist terror. He said that under the leadership of Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Shri Sai, Maoism is on the verge of ending in Chhattisgarh.

Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh have a common culture and common thoughts. The phrase ‘Chhattisgarhiya Sabse Badhiya’- the people of Chhattisgarh are the best and best known for their simplicity, for their rice bowl and for their natural resources. A new dimension of development has been established from Raipur to Bastar. Here the state-centre double engine government is swiftly working on the path of development,” said Dr Yadav. Lord Shri Ram has spent a lot of his time in Chhattisgarh. The incident of eating the leftover berries of Mata Shabri is also from Chhattisgarh.

Chief Minister Dr Yadav said that our glorious past is due to Lord Ram and Lord Krishna, our government will work to preserve it. The state-centre collaborated governments are working to promote religious tourism at the places where Lord Shri Krishna has also performed his Leelas. Rajyotsav was organized along with Deepotsav. This has increased the fame of this event. He said that Madhya Pradesh have Ladli Behan Yojana and Chhattisgarh have Mahtari Vandan Yojana. We will all continue to move forward on the path of rapid development.

Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai, while addressing the inauguration ceremony of Rajyotsav, said, “It’s our good fortune that Madhya Pradesh’s Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav has come for the inauguration of Rajyotsav.”

Chief Minister started his address by saluting martyr Veernarayan Singh, Veer Gundadhur and other martyrs of Chhattisgarh. He also remembered Birsa Munda, a symbol of bravery of the tribal community across the country. He also paid tribute to personalities like Guru Baba Ghasidas, Mini Mata and Maharaja Chakradhar Singh.

Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai remembered former Prime Minister Bharat Ratna late Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee ji and expressed gratitude towards him. The Chief Minister also remembered Lord Shri Ram, Mother Shabari, Rishi Agastya and other sages at Madheshwar Mahadev Taposthal.

The Chief Minister said that the love between Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh is like that of real brothers. The foundation day of both the states is on the same day. I congratulate Dr Mohan Yadav ji on the foundation day and wish for the rapid development of Madhya Pradesh.

“Chhattisgarh is entering its 25th year today. You have seen the development journey of these 24 years. During the Chief Ministership of Dr Raman Singh, Chhattisgarh developed in every field. Institutions like IIT, IIM, AIIMS and Law University were established here. A strong system of paddy procurement and PDS was established,” said Shri Sai.

The Chief Minister said that it has been ten months since our government came to power. In such a short time, our government has fulfilled most of the guarantees of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji. A wide range of assured works have been done ranging from promise of purchasing 21 quintals of paddy per acre at the rate of Rs 3100 per quintal or giving RS 1000 women of our state, Ramlala Darshan Yojana, PSC examination. All the work has been completed in ten months. The Chief Minister said that we have to fulfill the concept of developed Chhattisgarh. We have prepared a vision document and will work accordingly.

Attributing the credit of formation of the state of Chhattisgarh, Assembly Speaker Dr Raman Singh said that Atal Ji created the state of Chhattisgarh. The development that has taken place in the state today has been possible because of Atal Ji. Our state is the maternal home of Shri Ram. It is not a piece of land, it has immense possibilities. He said that Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai has executed an exemplary work for development.

On this occasion, Deputy Chief Minister Shri Arun Sao said that we are honored to welcome respected our elder brother Dr Mohan Yadav the coming tohether for state formation celebration seems just like gathering of all family members for any great celebration. The creation of Chhattisgarh is the most unique, most unparalleled example of democracy.

CM appreciated photo exhibition of Public Relations

Common people gives the accurate feedback about the schemes and achievements of the government: CM Shri Sai

Raipur : Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai visited the photo exhibition of the Public Relations Department on the second evening of Rajyotsav on Wednesday. On this occasion, the Chief Minister interacted the artists present there and expressed his happiness by playing the Mandar instrument. Chief Minister Shri Sai was seen in a different style, dancing to the beats of the Mandar with the artists. People appreciated Chief Minister's down to earth approach with common man along with his simplicity in one to one interaction with Chhattisgarhi artists. On this occasion, Rikhi Kshatriya presented a Mandar to the Chief Minister on his behalf.

It is worth noting that various schemes, development works and public welfare projects of the state have been displayed in the exhibition of the Public Relations Department. The Chief Minister appreciated the schemes and achievements shown in the exhibition and called it an important medium to increase awareness among the public. On this occasion, he listened to the speech given by former Prime Minister Bharat Ratna late Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee in the United Nations General Assembly in Hindi, being broadcasted through LED TV, wearing headphones.

The speech was given by Shri Vajpayee ji on 4 October, 1977 representing the country as the Foreign Minister of India. The speech was given in Hindi language which became a historic in the United Nations General Assembly. During which he raised many serious issues like nuclear disarmament and terrorism. He said that India wants friendship with all the countries and India will always play a leading role in world peace. He strongly put forward the concept of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam on the world stage and said that I assure this General Assembly on behalf of India that we will never lag behind in the time of sacrifice and renunciation for the attainment of the ideals of one world and for the welfare and glory of mankind.

Chief Minister Shri Sai described the speech of former Prime Minister Bharat Ratna late Atal Bihari Vajpayee as historic and said that it will make India proud. Chief Minister Shri Sai rewarded the students of Dani School and Kali Bari School who were winners in the Prashna Mala program at the Public Relations Department's exhibition. Students Lavina Verma, Kiran Sahu Suman, Mahima Verma, Deepika Dhiwar urged the Chief Minister to organize such events from time to time. In the Public Relations exhibition, Rikhi Kshatriya Bhilai displayed musical instruments of Chhattisgarh to preserve and promote the culture of Chhattisgarh.

Raipur : Dr. Ravi Mittal, the newly appointed Commissioner of Public Relations, officially took office on Monday at the SAMVAD office in Naya Raipur. Dr. Mittal, an IAS officer from the 2016 batch, previously served as the Collector of Jaspur. Raipur : The declaration of result of Police Recruitment Examination on Monday brought great sense of joy among the candidates who were waiting for the result of Subedar, Sub Inspector and Platoon Commander examination for a long time. The results of this examination were declared on the special initiative of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai.

In this examination, 959 youth have been selected for the posts of Subedar, Sub Inspector and Platoon Commander. Overwhelmed by the declaration of the result, the candidates met Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai at Nava Raipur Circuit House on same day and expressed their gratitude to him. Out of the total selected candidates around 40 candidates were present on this occasion.

They expressed their gratitude to Chief Minister Shri Sai by garlanding him with flowers and feeding him sweets.

The happiness of the grandson and granddaughter-in-law of elderly Smt. Dularbai Dewangan, who came from Bhilai, was visible on her face. She expressed her gratitude to Chief Minister for the initiative of result’s declaration. She blessed her grandson Shri Tilak Dewangan and granddaughter-in-law Smt. Bharti Dewangan for being selected.

Chief Minister Shri Sai congratulated and wished the selected candidates and said, “This Diwali will be festive of joy for all the selected candidates. You all should celebrate the happiness of your selection. Light lamps on Diwali and even on State Foundation Day.”

Chief Minister motivated the selected candidates saying that you all are going to take up a major responsibility. “As the security provider and proctor of the public, you have the responsibility of the safety of the public. Along with facing the Naxalite challenge, you also have the responsibility of maintaining law and order,” said Shri Sai.

He expressed hope that after training, the selected candidates will discharge their duties with full devotion and honesty.

The Chief Minister said that appointment letters have also been distributed to 83 Assistant Engineers of Water Resources Department on Monday. The recruitment process will continue for various posts in future as well.

He said that the state government is working in compliance to the Prime Minister's resolution of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas and Sabka Prayas. The cooperation of all will build a developed Chhattisgarh and a developed India. Chief Minister said that the selected candidates can join the Chandrakhuri Police Training Academy. He also said that on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Iron Man Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, Run for Unity is being organized on Tuesday in advance due to Diwali and urged people to participate in it.

Water Resources Minister Shri Kedar Kashyap said that you people have got the opportunity to serve the country. Selected candidates will serve Chhattisgarh and the country, as well as work to curb illegal activities.

Nitin, the candidate selected in this examination, expressed his gratitude to Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai and said that due to his efforts, the happiness of festivals has doubled as the result of the examination was declared before Diwali. Raipur : In a commitment towards prioritizing better healthcare services and facilities within the state, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai has strong focus on strengthening the healthcare system. In this league, a super specialty hospital Chhattisgarh Institute of Medical Sciences (CIMS) built at a cost of Rs 200 crore will be inaugurated in Bilaspur on Tuesday. The newly developed hospital CIMS will be virtually inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. During which the Chief Minister Shri Sai will also be present in this program.

As per health officials, this hospital will start in three phases. In its first phase the facilities of OPD, ward and ICCU, dialysis unit will be started followed by starting of lab, cath lab in second phase and operation theatre, cardiac and lumbar machines will be started in the third phase and the hospital will start fully functional in the fourth phase. The launch of this hospital will also prove beneficial for the patients of nearby districts including of Surguja division. They may not depend on hospitals in Raipur and would avail better treatment facilities nearby.

In compliance of state government’s vision of holistic progress, Health Minister Shri Shyam Bihari Jaiswal is constantly making efforts at the central level to introduce national level institutions in the field of healthcare.

In this regard, a 100-bed Central Research Institute of Yoga and Naturopathy (CRIYN) will be launched in Raipur and Tuesday Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will virtually lay its foundation stone.

Sharing information over CRIYN, Health Minister Shri Shyam Bihari Jaiswal said that the construction of this institute will be completed in 24 months at a cost of Rs 90 crore. State government has provided 10 acres of land to the AYUSH department for this institute. This will be Chhattisgarh's first yoga and naturopathy research center and hospital which will provide treatment facilities for non-communicable diseases. The center will also conduct training certification courses in wellness therapy and fellowship courses in research. The opening of this institute will develop new knowledge and insights about the effects of yoga and naturopathy

Raipur : Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai has urged residents of Chhattisgarh to remain vigilant against increasing incidents of cyber fraud. During his address, he highlighted the alarming rise in such scams, which was also noted by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi in today’s 'Mann Ki Baat' program, emphasizing the need for public awareness.

The Chief Minister warned that fraudsters are now employing sophisticated tactics, often impersonating family members in phone conversations to deceive individuals. He stressed that even educated citizens are falling victim to these scams, sometimes leading to devastating consequences, including financial loss and in severe consequences and suicide.

Shri Sai reassured the public that the government is actively implementing measures to enhance cyber security and conducting awareness campaigns to protect citizens from fraud. He urged everyone to exercise caution when receiving suspicious calls or messages and to refrain from sharing personal information.

Raipur : The 14th convocation was a momentous day for the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Raipur on Friday. In a ceremony filled with pride and celebration, President Smt. Draupadi Murmu personally conferred gold medals to 12 talented students, honouring their remarkable academic achievements.

Governor Shri Ramen Deka, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai and Union Minister of State Shri Tokhan Sahu also attended the convocation as special guests. During the NIT convocation today at the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Auditorium in Raipur, degrees were conferred upon 1,439 students who graduated, completed their postgraduate studies, or earned their PhDs in the 2023-24 academic year. This group included 1,044 students from the B.Tech. and B.Arch. programs, 225 from the MCA and M.Tech. programs, and 170 doctoral candidates.

In her address, President Smt. Draupadi Murmu emphasized that students are transitioning to an important new phase in their lives, having earned recognition through hard work and talent. She acknowledged the vital support from families and guidance from professors in their success. Addressing the convocation, President Smt Murmu said, “India's remarkable achievements in digital inclusion have astonished the world. Our nation possesses the potential and resources to demonstrate even more such successes. Institutions like NIT Raipur and enthusiastic youth like you should be eager to explore these possibilities and bring them to fruition.”

Smt. Murmu quoted anecdote of former President Dr Abdul Kalam, who earned fame by using science and technology for security and social welfare of the country.

In her convocation address, President Mrs. Murmu highlighted the India Semiconductor Mission, launched three years ago to establish the country as a global semiconductor manufacturing hub. She emphasized the industry's significance for economic growth, national security, and technological self-reliance, noting that it offers numerous opportunities for young engineers in employment and startups. She praised the innovative enterprises created by talented engineers and expressed confidence that their efforts will contribute to building a developed India and enhancing the country’s global standing.

In his address at the convocation Governor Ramen Deka celebrated the historic occasion, recognizing the years of hard work and academic challenges they faced, the friendships they built, and the shared experiences that led them to this moment. He extended his congratulations and best wishes to all the students receiving their degrees.

“The whole world will be looking towards these students to use engineering and technology skills to solve unresolved global problems like climate change, poverty, global hunger, gender discrimination, unequal income, unemployment,” said Governor Deka.

During the convocation ceremony at the NIT, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai hailed President Smt. Draupadi Murmu's visit and expressed gratitude for the President's two-day commitment to supporting the talents and citizens of Chhattisgarh. The Chief Minister highlighted that Chhattisgarh is primarily an agriculture-based state, with many residents in villages and forests facing various deprivations. He noted the state's rich natural resources and potential for industrial development, underscoring the importance of their contributions in this area. The Chief Minister reiterated Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of a developed India by 2047, stressing that achieving a developed Chhattisgarh is only possible with the active involvement of the graduates.

Chief Minister Shri Sai announced that India is on track to become the third-largest economy globally, with Chhattisgarh poised for significant economic growth. He highlighted the implementation of the new National Education Policy in the state, focusing on skill development alongside knowledge. This initiative aims to prepare a technically skilled and entrepreneurial youth generation. The government is modernizing 160 industrial training institutes and rapidly expanding transportation and communication networks. Chief Minister emphasized the potential of the youth to drive development in Chhattisgarh. The convocation also featured addresses from Dr Suresh Haware and Dr NV Ramana Rao, with gold medals awarded to top performers.

President Smt. Draupadi Murmu awarded gold medals to 11 engineering toppers at NIT for 2023. Among the recipients, Yash Bansal, the overall topper, received two gold medals for Computer Science and Engineering. Other winners included Ankit Mahobia - Bachelor of Architecture, Ishika Jain a Biomedical Engineering, Sibbhoo Kumar Singh from Biotechnology, Shikha Rai from Chemical Engineering, Muskan Agarwal from Civil Engineering, Shubham Agarwal from Electrical Engineering, Abhishek Kumar from Electronics and Communication Engineering, Disha Jain from Information Technology, Prakhar Jadhav from Meta and Materials Engineering and Priyanshu Kumar from Mining Engineering.

Raipur : President Smt. Droupadi Murmu inaugurated the Surguja Block at Purkhouti Muktangan in Nava Raipur on October 25. Built at a cost of approximately Rs. 5 crore, this newly opened section highlights the lifestyle, cultural heritage, and archaeological treasures of Chhattisgarh's tribal communities, with a special focus on the Surguja region.

Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai, Deputy Chief Minister Shri Arun Sao, Union Minister of State for Housing and Urban Development Shri Tokhan Sahu, Agriculture Minister Shri Ram Vichar Netam, Food Minister Shri Dayal Das Baghel, Health Minister Shri Shyam Bihari Jaiswal, Women and Child Development Minister Smt. Laxmi Rajwade, Revenue Minister Shri Tank Ram Verma, Raipur Lok Sabha MP Shri Brijmohan Agrawal, and MLAs Shri Khushwant Saheb and Shri Rohit Sahu.

The Surguja Block presents the unique traditions and ancient heritage of Surguja’s tribal communities. Visitors can experience the architecture and lifestyles of various tribes from the region, gaining insights into their living conditions and cultural practices within a single, immersive location.

A traditional bamboo and chhind leaf house illustrates the daily life of the Pando tribe, featuring a sacred space for deity worship. The wooden structure of the Pahari Korwa tribe’s home displays intricate deity carvings, reflecting their religious devotion. Additionally, the Samat Sarna Shiv Temple, reconstructed in the block, replicates Dipadih's ancient temple ruins, dating from the 7th to the 13th century, offering a glimpse into the region's archaeological and religious significance. A replica of Baikunthpur Palace from Koriya district, built in 1946 and a fine example of Indian architecture, also adds to the historical richness of the block.

The block further features the Madia Khamba, a symbolic pillar central to tribal ceremonies and worship for the Madia tribe. Also on display are the remnants of an ancient theatre from Sitabengra Cave on Ramgarh Hill, believed to be Bharat Muni’s theatre and known as the place where the poet Kalidas composed his masterpiece, Meghadutam.

Reflecting on Shri Vidyarthi’s remarkable contribution to India’s independence movement, Shri Sai emphasized that Shri Vidyarthi played a pivotal role in awakening national consciousness through his writings. In addition to contributing to several magazines, he founded his own Hindi weekly newspaper, Pratap, using it to challenge British authority with his powerful words. Rajyotsav will be organized from November 4th to November 6th in Atalnagar Naya Raipur

Raipur : Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai reviewed the preparations for Rajyotsav 2024 in his residence office on Thursday. Rajyotsav is being organized from November 4th to November 6th at Rajyotsav Sthal in Naya Raipur. n completion of 24 years of statehood celebrations, Chief Minister's Shri Sai has appealed to people of the state to celebrate Rajyotsav with Deepotsav by lighting lamps in their homes on November 1st.

As per the planning for grand celebration, around 10,000 lamps will be lit in Nava Raipur, Atalnagar.

Bus facility will be available for the general public to travel to the Rajyotsav site.

Transport facility will be provided to the general public at concessional rates to travel to the Rajyotsav site in Naya Raipur. During Rajyotsav, cultural programs will be organized every evening at the venue.

Bollywood singers including Shaan and Neeti Mohan and Indian Idol winners Pawandeep and Arunidita will be the center of attraction in the cultural evening.

A program of Bollywood singer Shri Shantanu Mukherjee (Shaan) has been organized on November 4 in the cultural evening, while Neeti Mohan's program will held on November 5.

On the evening of November 6, the program of Indian Idol winner Pawandeep and Arunidita will be the center of attraction.

State decoration ceremony on November 6

On the last day of Rajyotsav, on November 6, State decoration ceremony will be organized in which individuals and institutions will be honored for doing excellent work in various fields will be honored with state decoration.

Exhibition showcasing major schemes

An exhibition showcasing new schemes of major departmental will be organized by various departments at the Rajyotsav site. Huge stalls will be built for private institutions and PSU institutions. An exhibition will also be organized by the Agriculture and Water Resources Department.

Shilpgram, Food Court, Fan Park will be the center of attraction

Shilpgram and food court will also be built at the Rajyotsav venue including special stall for Tribal community cuisines will also be available here. A fun park will also be built for children where there will be various swings.

The Chief Minister presented gifts to five children, who were treated under the Navjeevan Uphaar scheme at Satya Sai Sanjeevani Hospital

Raipur : Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai on Thursday inaugurated the Sri Satya Sai Nursing College at Satya Sai Sanjeevani Hospital campus located at Atalnagar, Nava Raipur. Assembly Speaker Dr Raman Singh and Health Minister Shri Shyam Bihari Jaiswal were also present on the occasion. During the program, the newly admitted students of B.Sc. Nursing graduates took their oath during the lamp lighting ceremony, pledging to serve humanity and uphold their commitment to duty.

Appreciating the contribution of Shri Satya Sai Trust, Chief Minister Shri Sai said that this hospital has been built on the land of Mata Kaushalya and the maternal home of Lord Rama with the blessings of Satya Sai Baba. Its objective is to serve humanity. He said that the hospital has accomplished free of cost complex cardiac surgeries of more than 33000 children suffering from congenital heart disease. The hospital has conducted health checkup of more than three lakh children in OPD. This has attributed a recognition to Chhattisgarh in the country and abroad.

Shri Sai honored the specialist doctors of the hospital with Dhanvantri Award for this achievement. Appreciating efforts of Sanjeevani Hospital, the Chief Minister said that there is no cash counter in this hospital, people return happily after getting free of cost treatment.

Chief Minister said that this hospital was inaugurated on 21 February on his birthday and on this occasion he received direct blessings from Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. Satya Sai Trust will now also provide free education, accommodation and food facilities to nursing students.

Assembly Speaker Dr Raman Singh said, “During my tenure, I have been a direct witness to laying of its foundation stone and construction of the hospital as the Chief Minister, this is an emotional moment for me. Due to the commitment of Satya Sai Trust, the construction of the hospital was completed within a year. A large number of people from the country as well as abroad come to get treatment for congenital heart disease of children.”

Health Minister Shri Shyam Bihari Jaiswal also praised Satya Sai Trust and called it an institution dedicated to the service of humanity. He said that with the start of the nursing college, the girl students will get free accommodation and food arrangements.

In the program, President of Satya Sai Sanjeevani Trust Shri C Srinivas highlighted the services of free treatment of heart diseases of newborn children and discussed the future objectives of the trust. Under the 'Navjeevan Uphaar' program organized daily at Satya Sai Sanjeevani Hospital, on Thursday five children who have become completely healthy were given gifts and best wishes by Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai and they were discharged from the hospital.

During this program, it was told that after the death of Shri Prakhar Sahu, a child of Korba district, in an accident, his body was donated by his parents. The heart valve of this child was implanted in a child, which gave a new lease of life to the child.

This child has become completely healthy and was discharged from the hospital on Thursday. While felicitating Prakhar's parents, the Chief Minister appreciated their humanitarian initiative and called it inspirational for the society.

The Chief Minister congratulated the recovered children and their families and congratulated the team of Sanjivani Hospital for this wonderful service. On this occasion, newly admitted nursing students, their parents, medical and paramedical staff of the hospital, and members of the management committee were present.

Distributes cheques worth Rs 24 Lakhs to four Women Self-Help Groups

Raipur : Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai on Wednesday inaugurated a new branch of UCO Bank in the village Bhelwan, located within the Farasabahar development block, from the Camp Office Bagiya. During the event, he presented a cheque of Rs 24 lakhs to 40 members of women's self-help groups.

Chief Minister congratulated the villagers on the establishment of the new banking facility, stating, "This step is significant for financial inclusion and will greatly benefit the residents of Farasabahar and surrounding areas. Women will also be empowered to become self-reliant. Local residents will now have enhanced access to banking services for their daily needs."

He presented cheques of Rs 6 lakhs each to women from four self-help groups of Joranda Jharia of Farasabahar development block, bringing the total disbursed amount to Rs 24 lakhs. Chief Minister congratulated the women on receiving the cheques. It is worth mentioning that under his initiative, various efforts are underway to connect women with employment opportunities. They are making strides in vegetable farming and business, and many are achieving self-reliance by engaging in activities related to pickle-making, papad production, and sericulture.
