They took stock of the damage caused by the vandalism and arson perpetrated by anti-social elements at the Collectorate office a few days ago.

Raipur : Deputy Chief Minister and Minister of Urban Administration and Development, Mr. Arun Sao, has issued instructions regarding electricity bills and energy audits in all the 184 urban bodies of the state. He has directed that the conventional energy should be replaced with solar energy wherever possible. Addressing the officials of the Urban Administration Department, he highlighted that due to a lack of funds in many bodies, electricity bills are not paid on time, leading to unnecessary surcharges and arrears payments each year. Conducting audits on energy and electricity bills will facilitate cost-saving measures. Mr. Sao emphasized promoting green energy use in urban bodies to save on electricity costs and improve the environment. He has directed a phased approach to have energy audits conducted by third-party professional agencies.

Urban bodies have acquired a large number of electricity connections for public amenities such as drinking water supply and street lighting. The Electricity Department has installed thousands of meters in all the 184 urban bodies of the state. These meters are read monthly, and accordingly bills are issued to the urban bodies. Each month, significant amounts are spent on electricity dues, and sometimes additional payments are made as surcharges and arrears. Annually, approximately Rs 100 crores to Rs 200 crores are transferred to the Electricity Department for adjusting electricity bills in urban bodies. Currently, about ₹800 crores of pending payments are increasing surcharge amounts.

Considering this situation, Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Arun Sao, in a departmental review meeting, instructed officials to audit electricity bills and conduct energy audits of urban bodies. This will allow for a clear assessment of actual electricity consumption and unnecessary surcharge payments. Post-audit, policies will be developed to reduce electricity consumption and establish solar energy plants. Over the long term, reducing electricity consumption and installing solar energy plants could save approximately ₹800 crores to ₹1,000 crores. Additionally, urban bodies will gain carbon credits through the use of green energy. Mr. Sao stated that the savings could fund infrastructure development and new schemes to provide basic amenities to citizens. Incorporating solar energy into energy management and reducing thermal energy use will also promote environmental sustainability.

Instructions for Maximizing Solar Energy Use to Make Urban Bodies Energy Efficient; Pilot Project Plan Underway

Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Arun Sao has instructed that urban bodies be made energy efficient through the maximum utilization of solar energy. The Urban Administration Department is preparing a pilot project plan to gather accurate data on electricity consumption in urban bodies through energy audits. These audits will identify real consumption, irregularities, and deficiencies in the system, and analyze electricity dues. This will promote the use of energy-efficient devices, economize dues through reduced consumption, and adopt alternative arrangements like solar energy systems in a phased manner. The Government of India has also initiated innovative schemes like PM KUSUM, PM Suryodaya, and PM Suryaghar to promote solar energy use over conventional energy.

Raipur : Speaker of the Legislative Assembly, Dr. Raman Singh, and Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai reviewed the progress of the construction of the new Legislative Assembly building, the MLA rest house, and the residential quarters for officers and employees in Nava Raipur on Thursday. The review meeting took place at the Chief Minister’s residence office. During the meeting, the Chief Minister directed senior officials to complete the construction work within the stipulated time frame while maintaining high quality. He emphasised that the progress should be reviewed to ensure timely completion.

The Speaker of the Legislative Assembly, Dr. Raman Singh, emphasised that the construction of the Assembly building should be planned with future generations in mind. He directed the officials to make the entire Assembly complex solar-powered, setting an example for the entire country. Dr. Singh stressed the importance of integrating green environment technology throughout the premises and urged for extensive tree plantation. Besides ornamental plants, he suggested planting significant trees native to Chhattisgarh, such as Mahua, Kusum, Sal, and Sagon, within the premises. He also recommended implementing rainwater harvesting systems and mechanisms to reuse water for irrigation. Additionally, Dr. Singh proposed constructing a natural pond to ensure water availability. To enhance the efficiency and diligence of the construction work, he instructed the Chief Secretary to conduct review meetings every month.

The Parliamentary Affairs Minister, Shri Brijmohan Agrawal, directed officials to use high-quality and modern materials in the construction of the new Legislative Assembly. He emphasised that since people from all over the country visit the Legislative Assembly, the construction should ensure that this Assembly building stands out nationwide. Shri Agrawal remarked that the Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly is the largest panchayat in the state and should serve as a grand example across the country. In addition to reflecting Chhattisgarh's culture, the premises should incorporate replicas of heritage sites like Sirpur and others.

The construction of an impressive new Legislative Assembly complex is currently underway in Nava Raipur's Atal Nagar area, spanning on a vast 20.78-hectare site at an estimated cost of Rs 217.12 crores. This ambitious project aims to reflect Chhattisgarh's rich cultural heritage while incorporating modern amenities. The complex will include a new Assembly building, a rest house for MLAs, and residential quarters for officers and staff.

Officials from the Public Works Department informed that the construction of the new Legislative Assembly building will be completed by December 2024, with the interior work scheduled for completion by June 2025. The new Assembly building, designed to accommodate 200 MLAs, will feature state-of-the-art facilities including the Legislative Assembly Secretariat, three meeting halls, a canteen, a central hall, a visitors' gallery, a media lounge, a convention hall, an art gallery, a dispensary, a bank, and a post office. Additionally, akin to the Parliament building, a dedicated Cabinet meeting hall is also under construction. The building will showcase the cultural heritage of Chhattisgarh, incorporating Bastar art, Jaspur art, and contemporary urban art styles.

Raipur : The Prayas School in Raipur is giving tough competition to well-known coaching institutes. 32 students from this school, currently in 12th grade, have qualified for the JEE (Joint Entrance Examination) Advanced, making them eligible for admission to various IITs (Indian Institutes of Technology) and equivalent national institutes. Most students who get into the country's top technical institutes (IITs and equivalents) usually prepare for one or two years after 12th grade. However, the 32 students from Prayas School have achieved their goal of getting into these prestigious technical institutes while still studying in 12th grade. The JEE is a tough national-level competitive exam in which lakhs of students from across the country participate.

In the recently announced JEE Advanced results on June 9, Kuldeep Kumar from Prayas School in Raipur secured an All India Category Rank of 459. Omprakash Netam got an All India Category Rank of 473, and Rudraksh Bhagat achieved an All India Category Rank of 825. Coming from impoverished tribal families in the remote regions of Mohla-Manpur-Ambagarh Chowki, Kondagaon, and Surguja, these three children have achieved significant academic success. Their fellow students also performed remarkably: Trilok Pankara secured an All India Category Rank of 1123, Liladhar Thakur secured 1174, Pankaj Rawate secured 1592, Gaind Lal secured 1638, Adarsh Raj Pankara secured 1661, and Shubham Kashyap secured 1801. These children come from remote and Tribal regions of the state. Under the skilled guidance of teachers at Prayas School, these students have taken a significant step towards achieving their dreams through hard work and talent.

Prayas School in Raipur helps talented tribal students from grades 9 to 12 fulfil their dreams of studying at prestigious technical institutes like IITs and NITs. In April, 64 students from this school qualified for JEE Mains, making them eligible for JEE Advanced, and now, 32 of them have also qualified for JEE Advanced. Those who have cleared JEE Advanced can take admission in various IITs and equivalent institutes, while those who qualified for JEE Mains can pursue their dreams at NITs and similar institutes. Over the last five years, Prayas School has seen 51 of its students secure admission in various IITs, and 94 students getting selected for NITs by clearing the challenging national-level JEE exams.

Children from remote and tribal areas of Chhattisgarh are studying at Prayas School in Saddu, Raipur. The school has around 700 students from grades 9 to 12. In the 2023-24 academic year, 166 students were studying in mathematics (PCM) stream. Smt. Chief Minister's directive leads to rapid hearing aid installation for Shri Kaita in just two days

Raipur : Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai's compassionate intervention has enabled a 72-year-old man to once again hear the voices around him. Shri Ramdev Ram Kaita, a resident of Kunkuri block in Jashpur district, had been grappling with hearing loss due to ear-related issues. Hindered by financial constraints, he lacked the means to seek treatment. Two days ago, Shri Kaita visited the Chief Minister's residential office and shared his problems with Shri Sai, who promptly instructed officials concerned to address the matter.

Today, in the Chief Minister's residential office, in the presence of Shri Vishnu Deo Sai, officials from the Social Welfare Department fitted digital hearing aids in both of Shri Ramdev Ram Kaita's ears. These aids will significantly enhance his auditory experience, enabling him to hear more clearly. Expressing heartfelt gratitude to Chief Minister Shri Sai, Shri Kaita remarked that the Chief Minister is a savior of the underprivileged. Shri Kaita stated that he hadn't expected that his issue would be resolved so quickly and he found that the Chief Minister was exactly as he had heard about him.

PM-Janman Yojana reaches Baiga-dominated villages: Special camps scheduled from June 10 to July 3 in Gaurela Pendra Marwahi

Raipur : Aiming to extend the benefits of the Pradhan Mantri JANMAN Yojana, special camps are being organized in 13 Baiga-dominated Gram Panchayats of the Gaurela development block from June 10 to July 03. These camps will operate on different dates from 10 am to 5:30 pm. The scheme aims to uplift the social and economic conditions of Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups (PVTGs). Under this initiative, efforts will be made to enhance community infrastructure, elevate the social and economic status, and ensure that every Baiga family receives 100 per cent benefits from government schemes.

As part of the PM JANMAN Yojana, various essential documents and entitlements will be provided to Baiga families during these camps. Chhattisgarh Health Minister Shyam Bihari Jaiswal, Scheduled Caste and Tribal Development Minister Ramvichar Netam and Lundra MLA Prabodh Minj accompanied the Chief Minister. Chhattisgarh Niwas has been constructed at a cost of Rs 60 crore 42 lakh in Dwarka for the guests of Chhattisgarh.

During the visit, he took stock of cleanliness, security and other facilities. He thoroughly inspected the quality of the construction work, facilities and took other feedbacks from the officials.

The Chief Minister directed the officials that the guests staying at Chhattisgarh Niwas should not face any kind of inconvenience and their needs should be taken care of.

Chhattisgarh Niwas, the new guest house has been constructed for the guests of Chhattisgarh in Sector 13 of Dwarka. Chhattisgarh Niwas has 10 suite rooms, 67 rooms, a meeting hall including dining hall and waiting area and a tower for the employees. During the inspection, Chief Minister was accompanied by Media Advisor Pankaj Jha, Press Officer Alok Singh, Public Relations Commissioner Mayank Shrivastava, Residential Commissioner Shruti Singh and other officials.

Raipur : Today, polling parties were sent by helicopter to the polling centers in Bastar Lok Sabha constituency for the first phase of voting under the Lok Sabha Elections-2024 in Chhattisgarh.

Today 56 polling parties were sent by helicopter to Bijapur, Sukma and Narayanpur districts under Bastar Lok Sabha constituency. On April 17, 100 polling parties will be sent via helicopter to districts Bijapur, Sukma, Kondagaon, Dantewada and Narayanpur.

It is noteworthy that under the first phase of Lok Sabha elections 2024, the date of voting in Bastar Lok Sabha constituency is 19 April 2024 and the counting date is 4 June 2024.

Raipur : Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai, on Thursday, bestowed honours upon 544 talented players from various sports disciplines during the 'Rajya Khel Alankaran Samaroh 2024' held at the Deendayal Upadhyay Auditorium in Raipur. Besides, he also honoured families of martyrs in the programme, presided over by Chhattisgarh Assembly Speaker Dr Raman Singh.

In his address, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai stressed the importance of nurturing talent, stating, "Talent is God's unique gift to society. When talents flourish, society also flourishes." He congratulated all the players, highlighting the significance of the award ceremony initiated in honour of Chhattisgarh's martyrs, which was started by the government led by former Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh.

He expressed regret over the absence of such ceremonies under the previous government's tenure, stating that "The previous government did not organize any such award ceremony in the state for the last five years. After a considerable delay, these talented players in the state are finally receiving their well-deserved awards."

Shri Sai highlighted the recent efforts and significant decisions of the state government in promoting sports including plans to establish national and international level residential sports academies in Chhattisgarh, the launch of the 'Chhattisgarhiya Krida Protsahan Yojana' to revive traditional sports, and the decision to construct a modern sports stadium in Jashpur, along with indoor stadium complexes in Raigarh and Balodabazar districts.

Chhattisgarh Assembly Speaker Dr Raman Singh praised the dedication of young players, recognizing their efforts to revive the 'Khel Alankaran Samman' ceremony. He noted that the ceremony had been halted by the previous government, leading players to take to the streets in protest. As a result of their actions, the ceremony is now being reinstated by the current government, with a commitment to promoting sports activities and supporting players.

Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Shri Tank Ram Verma paid homage to the courageous martyrs and spoke about the initiation of the 'Utkrisht Khiladi Yojana' in 2007. He mentioned that 74 players have been employed in the state. A committee has been formed to re-examine applications from players seeking recognition as outstanding players (Utkrisht Khiladi), with the process set to commence soon.

In the programme, a total of 06 players were honoured with the Shaheed Rajiv Pandey Award, 06 with the Shaheed Kaushal Yadav Award, 02 with the Veer Hanuman Singh Award, 27 with the Shaheed Pankaj Vikram Samman, 05 with the Shaheed Vinod Choubey Samman, and 25 with the Chief Minister's Trophy, all for the year 2019-20. Similarly, for the year 2020-21, 11 players were honoured with the Shaheed Rajiv Pandey Award, 03 with the Shaheed Kaushal Yadav Award, 01 with the Veer Hanuman Singh Award, 16 with the Shaheed Pankaj Vikram Samman, 05 with the Shaheed Vinod Choubey Samman, and 26 selected players were honoured with the Chief Minister's Trophy. Besides, a total of 269 players who won medals in national competitions were honoured with total award money of Rs 30.36 lakh for the year 2019-20, and as many as 142 players were awarded Rs 19.32 lakh for the year 2020-21.

Raipur : Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai addressed the 'Collector-SP Conference' today from his residence office and gave necessary instructions regarding the implementation of government schemes and maintenance of the law and order in the state. Chief Minister Shri Sai said that many schemes of the state government and the Government of India are being implemented in the state. These schemes should be made accessible to even the last person of the state. Collectors were directed to ensure that the district administration delivers the schemes to the people without any negligence or irregularities. Following the footsteps of Prime Minister who considers himself a public servant, we should also make serving public a priority. From Collector to Patwari and from SP to constable, we all have to be ready to serve the public.

Revenue officers should change their tendency to postpone work

Chief Minister Shri Sai said that several complaints of negligence, delay and irregularities have been received against the Patwaris and Revenue Inspectors in rural areas. Chief Minister said that the old system of postponing work should be changed immediately. All the Collectors should ensure that complaints are resolved at the earliest and public convenience should be the priority.

Ensure timely attendance of officers and employees

Chief Minister said that officials and employees should give their best effort and focus every day in their 5-day work week. Timely attendance of the officials should be ensured. The district administration should pay attention to ensure that the schemes of the state government and the Government of India reach the people with complete transparency.

The image of the government is shaped by the way Collectors and Superintendents of Police work. Our farmers are food providers the 'Annadaata'. The district administration should ensure that farmers do not have to visit offices. It should be ensured that the work of the farmers is completed within the prescribed time period.

DMF funds should not be misused

In the tenure of the previous government, there was a huge corruption in the use of DMF fund. DMF fund is meant for the development of mining affected areas. This amount should be spent to provide health, education, drinking water, roads and means of livelihood. Government of India has laid down rules to ensure optimal utilization of the DMF amount. These rules should be strictly followed to avoid any kind of misuse.

Monitor work agency and contractor

Chief Minister said that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has set the goal of providing tap water connection to every household through Jal Jeevan Mission. These works should be completed in a systematic and strategic manner. First of all, water sources should be identified, after which the work of building a tank and laying pipelines should be done. The work agency and contractor should be monitored so that the work is done properly.

Pay remuneration to tendupatta collectors on time

As the time of tendupatta procurement has arrived, the procurement rate has been fixed at Rs 5500 per standard bag by the government. Tendupatta collectors should be provided timely payment of wages along with the benefits of various schemes. MNREGA works should run smoothly in rural areas and payments should be made on time. Workers should not have to wander for wages. Approved works should be started and completed on time, directed Chief Minister.

Expedite Implementation of Pradhan Mantri Aawas Yojana

Under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, our government has decided to build 18 lakh houses. The eligible beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, who were deprived of the benefits for past 5 years, should get the housing facility under the scheme at the earliest. All the houses approved under the scheme should be completed in an expedited manner. This scheme should be continuously reviewed at the district level. The work of renewal of ration cards should be completed soon and timely distribution of food grains to ration card holders should be ensured.

People should not face difficulty in withdrawing money from banks

Under Mahtari Vandan Yojana, the first installment of the scheme has been transferred to the bank accounts of more than 70 lakh eligible women. Similarly, the amount under Krishak Unnati Yojana has also transferred to the bank accounts of farmers. Necessary arrangements should be ensured in the banks to ensure that the beneficiaries do not face any difficulty in withdrawing the above amount. Even after transfer of funds by the government in Direct Benefit Schemes, there have been complaints of funds not being deposited in their their accounts. Such complaints should be immediately addressed and resolved. We have to achieve saturation in all the schemes like Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Ayushman Card, Ujjwala Yojana, Jan-Dhan Account, Security Insurance Scheme etc. Therefore, work should be done keeping this goal in mind.

Image of Security Camp in Bastar should be that of a Convenience Camp

Chief Minister Shri Sai said that the security camp established to control Maoist terrorism in Bastar should have the image of a convenience camp among the people. He said that our government has started the 'Niyad Nellanar Scheme' to provide basic facilities to the people. Under this scheme, all types of basic facilities should be provided to the people of rural areas within a radius of 5 kilometers around the camp.

Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana fulfilled the dream of more than 36 lakh women for a smoke-free kitchen

Raipur : Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana has provided 36.76 lakh LPG cylinder connections to eligible women in the state, which has transformed their lives. Before this initiative, they relied on wood, coal, and cow-dung cakes to prepare meals. The smoke from the traditional chulhas caused them various health issues including irritation in their eyes. Now, under Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai’s government, their kitchen underwent a transformative shift, becoming free from smoke and allowing them to prepare meals for their family effortlessly. They can now quickly prepare meals and allocate time for other tasks. Under the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana, the government has provided LPG gas cylinder connections to 36 lakh 76 thousand women in the state.

Nanhi Bai, a 60-year-old member of the Birhor community and resident of Bhuiyapani village under the Lailunga Development Block of Raigarh district, received the benefits of an LPG gas cylinder connection under the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana. She expressed gratitude to the Chief Minister and shared that this scheme has relieved her of the exhausting task of collecting firewood from the jungle. PM Ujjwala Yojana brought an unexpected positive change in her old-age life and freed her from the unhealthy smoke as well.

Under the Prime Mantri Ujjwala Yojana, residents of Baikunthpur in the Koriya district, including 30-year-old Smt Rambai, 55-year-old Smt Manakunwar, 25-year-old Smt Durga, 35-year-old Smt Phoolbasan, and 31-year-old Smt Usha, shared their experiences and expressed gratitude for transforming their lives by providing LPG cylinder connections. Some are rejoicing in the freedom from unhealthy smoke that was integral to the cooking carried out with traditional chulhas, while some are valuing the saving of time and effort that went into collecting firewood from the jungle.

Smt Phoolbasan Bai stated that cooking with a gas stove has become quite easy and utensils also do not turn black. Smt Usha Bai is inspiring other eligible beneficiaries to avail of the benefits of the scheme. This scheme is beneficial not only for the family but also for the environment. With the availability of gas stoves, deforestation will also be reduced, and greenery will be preserved.

Chief Minister Inaugurates 'Navonmesh Portal' Prepared by State Planning Commission for Best Practice Compilation

Raipur : Chhattisgarh Chief Minister and Chairman of the State Planning Commission, Shri Vishnu Deo Sai, held a meeting with all departmental secretaries in his residence office on Monday to discuss the action plan for creating the vision document "Amritkal: Chhattisgarh Vision@2047". Minister Shri OP Choudhary was also present at the meeting.

Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai stated that on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of India's independence on August 15, 2023, a vision has been shared to transform the nation into a developed country by 2047. It is expected that all states ensure the effective implementation and utilization of state-level policies, programs, and resources to achieve the goal of a developed India @2047. Furthermore, to identify the state's strengths and devise effective strategies and action plans for expected progress, a vision document titled "Amritkal: Chhattisgarh Vision @2047" is planned to be released on the upcoming State Foundation Day on November 1, 2024.

Shri Sai mentioned that the vision document would include policy and action plans for potential development areas in the state, such as infrastructure development, agricultural modernization, education and skill development, GYAN 'Gareeb, Yuva, Annadata and Naari Sakti '-based development, investment promotion, effective utilization of mineral resources, renewable energy, cottage industry development, effective fiscal and tax policies, encouragement of small and medium-sized enterprises, food processing units, tourism development, health and nutrition, tribal development, rural development, and urban development. Based on this, relevant departments will ensure significant progress in their respective sectors, playing a crucial role in realizing the vision of a developed Chhattisgarh.

On this occasion, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai inaugurated the 'Navonmesh Portal,' an online digital platform prepared by the State Planning Commission for collecting best practices. The aim of this portal is to effectively gather best practices in one place, which can then be adopted in other districts and departments. This initiative aims to inspire others to implement these practices in their respective areas of work, thereby achieving better results under various schemes and activities.

During the meeting on the proposed strategy for preparing the vision document, Finance Minister Shri OP Choudhary expressed his views, stating that as per the announcement made in the budget, the Chhattisgarh government is committed to releasing the state's vision document, 'Amritkal: Chhattisgarh Vision @2047' on the state's establishment day, November 1, 2024.

Shri Chaudhary emphasized the concept of 'Inclusive Development' and 'No one left behind in the stream of development' for envisioning a developed nation and state. The idea of rapid development in the state is symbolized by ten fundamental pillars. Primarily, GYAN (Gareeb, Yuva, Annadata, and Naari Shakti) will be the focal points of our economic and social development.

He mentioned that the vision document will include sector-specific policies for short-term (5 years), medium-term (10 years), and long-term (25 years) durations. Along with policies, the vision document will also encompass sector-wise implementation points.

In this meeting, Shri Ajay Singh, Vice-Chairman of the State Planning Commission, informed that inputs will be gathered from departments, district administration officials, industry representatives, civil society, youth, and the general public by the State Planning Commission to prepare the comprehensive vision document. Coordination will also be maintained with the NITI Aayog in New Delhi as per the requirement. He expressed the expectation that all departments would actively participate in preparing this vision document.

Shri Amitabh Jain, Chief Secretary of the Chhattisgarh Government, provided guidance to all department secretaries to ensure adequate coordination with the State Planning Commission and to provide necessary data feedback as required. This ensures the participation of all departments in determining the vision document.

In this meeting, Shri Anoop Kumar Shrivastav, Member Secretary, presented the phased action plan and its timeline for the determination of the vision document. Dr. K. Subramaniam, Member of the State Planning Commission, and all departmental secretaries participated in the meeting.

Raipur : Chief Minister expressed gratitude towards the Prime Minister for dedicating his time to launch the Mahtari Vandan Yojana, stating, “The day for which these women were eagerly waiting has arrived today. Our visionary Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi ji, had pledged that if our government were formed in Chhattisgarh, we would initiate this scheme. Raipur : Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai was presented with the key of an ambulance by the Chhattisgarh Cement Transport Welfare Association at his residence on the occasion of the late Shri Dilip Singh Judev's birth anniversary. Reflecting on the day, the Chief Minister reminisced about his association with the late Shri Judev, highlighting the invaluable lessons he learned, particularly in humility and dedication to public service.

"I learned humility from the late Shri Judev," Chief Minister Shri Sai remarked, "His deep commitment to service continues to inspire me. There's unparalleled joy in serving patients, which has been the cornerstone of my political journey."

Recounting his efforts in securing medical assistance for the needy, Chief Minister Shri Sai stated, "In just one year of my term as a state minister, I appealed to Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi for Rs 12 crores from the Prime Minister's Relief Fund to facilitate patient treatments. During Dr Raman Singh's tenure, I relentlessly pursued medical aid for patients, a mission that brought immense satisfaction."

Extending his greetings on Mahashivratri and International Women's Day, Chief Minister Shri Sai also paid tributes to the late Shri Dilip Singh Judev highlighting Shri Judev's pivotal role in shaping his political career. "Shri Judev has been my political guru. His guidance in politics, humility, and worker relations has been invaluable. I express my gratitude to the association for their contribution towards patient welfare", he said.

In addition, Chief Minister Shri Sai shared the story of a truck driver afflicted with a tumor post-accident. "Upon learning of his plight, I ensured his treatment at Delhi AIIMS, where the doctors removed his 16 kg tumor, saying that this is a first-of-its-kind case", he said.

Highlighting Prime Minister Shri Modi's visionary leadership, Chief Minister Shri Sai stated "Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi's idea is to make our country the world's guru again, to call this country a 'Sone ki Chidiya' again, and to realize the dream of a developed India. Efforts in this direction are also proving fruitful. Before 2014, our country's economy was at 11th place, in these 10 years it has come to 5th place, and in the next 5 years, it will be at the third place. A developed India necessitates a developed Chhattisgarh, requiring contributions from every citizen."

Sukanti plans to use the financial aid received under Mahtari Vandan Yojana to provide better education to her daughters

Raipur : Chhattisgarh Government is implementing Mahtari Vandan Yojana in Chhattisgarh to financially empower the women of the state. The financial aid provided under this scheme will not only help women invest in their health and well-being, but will also encourage their decisive role in the family.

Sukanti Singh, a resident of village Adawal of Jagdalpur district, said that after the government announced the launch of Mahtari Vandan Yojana, she got information about the scheme at a camp organized at local community center by Women and Child Development Department. At this camp, she filled the application to register as beneficiary for the scheme. Sukanti Singh is very excited to be selected as a beneficiary under Mahtari Vandan Yojana. She works as a daily wage labourer to support her family. She has two daughters and one son in the family, the husband died a few years ago.

After scrutiny of the application, she was enlisted as an eligible beneficiary of Mahtari Vandan Yojana. Sukanti told that she will use the amount she receives under the scheme for providing better education to her daughters.
