Raipur : Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai attended a felicitation ceremony organised by Chhattisgarh State Panchayat Secretary Association commemorating the ‘Panchayat Sachiv Diwas’. The event was organised at Sardar Balbir Singh Juneja Indoor Stadium in Raipur on July 7. Chief Minister assured that the state government is attentive to the interests of panchayat secretaries and has already met their expectations since taking office. He shared that the association's demand for government recognition would be fulfilled soon and the government would form a committee to implement this decision. Association officials expressed their gratitude by presenting the Chief Minister with a garland.

During his address, the Chief Minister shared his personal experience of serving as a panchayat member for five years and as an unopposed sarpanch. He emphasised that country's development is rooted in panchayats, with all central and state government schemes being implemented through these local bodies. Shri Sai stressed the crucial role of sarpanches and secretaries in village development. He stated that the successful implementation of all schemes depends on panchayat secretaries' efforts. He praised their work and appealed to them to strive for even better performance.

Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh also addressed the event, commending Chief Minister Shri Sai’s effort in fulfilling numerous promises in a short period. He emphasised the significant role of panchayat secretaries and highlighted Shri Sai's extensive experience from panchayat to parliament level.

Deputy Chief Minister and Minister for Panchayat and Rural Development, Shri Vijay Sharma, stated that Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai's government has promptly fulfilled Prime Minister Shri Modi's guarantees after coming to power in Chhattisgarh. He emphasised that government schemes are implemented through panchayat secretaries, shaping government's image. New government has promptly paid the arrears of panchayat secretaries and compensated them for the 55-day strike period.

Women and Child Development Minister Smt. Laxmi Rajwade highlighted that government has always met the demands of the Secretaries' Association. She stated that village secretaries play a crucial role in conveying local issues and demands to higher authorities. All central and state government schemes reach the grassroots level through panchayat secretaries.

Raipur : Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai visited his alma mater in Bagiya village, where he completed his fifth-grade education years ago, for the State-Level Shala Praveshotsav. Shri Sai shared his school days memories when students used to bring cow dung from home, which was used to coat the school floors. He shared the community effort in maintaining the school at that time. He recalled how villagers collectively used to repair the roof. He highlighted the stark differences between then and now, such as the lack of proper flooring and concrete roads during his time. At that time, students had to travel to Seramongra for fifth-grade board exams due to the absence of a local exam centre.

Shri Sai stated that education is the cornerstone of development. He shared the state government's commitment to providing the best possible education to the state's children. He announced several initiatives, including a new residential school for divyang students in Jashpur, upgrading schools in Bagiya and Bandarchua to model schools, and establishing a higher secondary school in Farsabahar. In his address, Chief Minister Shri Sai called the day historic for himself and the residents of Bagiya. He mentioned that education is not merely about obtaining degrees or jobs but about transforming lives. He urged people to observe the difference in living standards between educated and uneducated individuals to understand the importance of education. Shri Sai also highlighted India's ancient reputation as a world leader in education, citing examples of Nalanda and Takshashila, where many students gained knowledge and progressed.

The Chief Minister highlighted that the government has promoted educational development through the new education policy. This policy introduces bi-annual board examinations, providing students with better opportunities to improve their grades. The government has incorporated local languages into textbooks to enhance students' understanding and knowledge. State government is operating 211 PM-SHRI schools to enhance the quality of education. Schools have organised summer camps to nurture student talent. He announced that Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs) will be organised in all schools on August 6. Teachers will inform parents about their children's learning progress.

The Chief Minister shared that many people have been organising 'Nyota Bhoj' in schools, a program that allows individuals to sponsor meals for students on special occasions such as birthdays or other significant days. During the event, he invited Padma Shri awardee Shri Jageshwar Yadav from Jashpur district to the stage and praised his dedicated service to the most backward tribal communities, including the Pahari Korwa and Birhor tribes. Shri Yadav's commitment was exemplified by his choice to carry out his service wearing only shorts and without footwear. To recognise his dedication, the President of India awarded him with the Padma Shri. The Chief Minister emphasised that significant progress can be achieved by working for the welfare of others. He encouraged the people to learn from Shri Yadav's example, stating that his life and work offer valuable lessons for everyone.

At the Shala Praveshotsav, Smt. Kaushalya Sai, wife of the Chief Minister, addressed the gathering. She advised parents to focus on their children's education without comparing them to others, emphasising that each child has unique abilities and characteristics. She urged parents to concentrate on their children's studies considering their abilities.

Finance Minister Shri O.P. Choudhary delivered a speech highlighting the Chief Minister's inspiring journey. He stated, "The Chief Minister is a fitting example of how sincere determination and effort invariably lead to success. The school where we stand today is where the Chief Minister completed his primary education. Now, he leads our state." Shri Choudhary shared his own journey and stated that despite limited resources, his mother always encouraged him to study. He stressed that education is the sole means to transform society.

MP Shri Radheshyam Rathiya highlighted the government's efforts in providing all necessary facilities for better education. He encouraged students to study well. Jashpur MLA Smt. Raymuni Bhagat emphasised the need for parents to work alongside teachers to improve their children's education, asserting that this collaboration would undoubtedly raise educational standards. Pathalgaon MLA Smt. Gomati Sai stated that knowledge is the greatest wealth, emphasising the need for continuous efforts to enhance education.

Chief Minister distributes bicycles and honours students at Shala Praveshotsav

Chief Minister Shri Sai distributed bicycles to high school girls, who expressed their joy by ringing the bicycle bells. He also honoured meritorious students and their parents, recognising their achievements. Additionally, the Chief Minister acknowledged teachers who have been providing excellent education through the Vinoba app and took the time to interact with the children.

Tree Planting Campaign: "Ek Ped Maa ke Naam"

As part of the "Ek Ped Maa ke Naam" campaign, the Chief Minister planted a Rudraksha sapling in honour of his mother. He urged people to follow the Prime Minister's appeal to plant a tree in honour of their mothers. Shri Sai emphasised that if everyone planted a tree in honour of their mothers, India would have as many trees as its population, significantly increasing the green cover.

Keval Sahu, a divyang youth from Arang block in Raipur district, attended the Jandarshan program on July 4. Keval informed the Chief Minister that he was paralysed from the waist down and unable to move freely, which forced him to discontinue his studies. His father, Shri Krishna Sahu, works as a labourer, and it is very challenging for them to cover family expenses.

Chief Minister Shri Sai directed the officials to provide a wheelchair for Keval. The officials promptly provided one, bringing joy to both Keval and his father. The Chief Minister encouraged Keval to continue his education, saying, "Study well and become a successful person." Shri Krishna Sahu expressed his gratitude to the Chief Minister, stating that his sensitivity would be a milestone in improving his son's future. He added that with the wheelchair, Keval would face no difficulties in going to school and could continue his education uninterrupted.

Divya Vishwakarma received a cheque for Rs. 1.5 lakh; her grandfather expressed gratitude to Chief Minister Shri Sai for his immediate intervention

Raipur : In a heartwarming incident at Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai's Jandarshan program, a ten-year-old girl named Divya Vishwakarma received immediate financial aid for her medical treatment. Upon learning about Divya's condition, Chief Minister Shri Sai promptly called her to the stage and issued instructions for immediate financial assistance.

Shri Dohat Ram Vishwakarma, Divya's grandfather, shared with the Chief Minister that Divya was bitten by a Gehunwa snake (Indian cobra) when she was three years old. This caused tissue destruction in her right hand. While herbal remedies healed the wound, her hand remained deformed. Doctors at a private hospital in Raipur suggested two surgeries to correct the deformity, estimated to cost between Rs 1.5 and 2 lakh.

Divya's father, Shri Trivendra, is a farmer in Kanechur village of Nayapara, Bhanupratappur, and cannot afford the expensive treatment. Understanding the family's financial constraints, Chief Minister Shri Sai instructed officials to provide financial aid of Rs. 1.5 lakh for Divya's treatment.

Remarkably, within an hour of the Chief Minister's directive, a cheque for Rs. 1.5 lakh was issued to the family. Shri Vishwakarma expressed gratitude to Chief Minister Shri Sai for his granddaughter's medical aid. He stated "We're happy that Divya's hand will now be treated. My hearty thanks to the Chief Minister."

Chief Minister Shri Sai will directly engage with citizens from across the state and will also accept applications related to their problems. It is worth mentioning that the first Jandarshan was held at the Chief Minister's residence last week, with a large number of citizens participating and submitting applications concerning various problems and demands to the Chief Minister.

Now all of you can come to school comfortably and safely," said Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai while introducing the Home Minister during a discussion with the school children of police families today. The children clapped in joy upon receiving the school bus and expressed gratitude to Chief Minister and Home Minister. Chief Minister encouraged the children, stressing the importance of studying well and making progress in their lives.

Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai and Home Minister Shri Vijay Sharma, handed over the bus keys to Maria Bhatpahari, a young member of the police family, at a ceremony held at the Chief Minister's residence. The occasion was marked with a ceremonial 'pooja' attended by members of the police families before the bus was officially flagged off.

Expressing his satisfaction, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai stated "This is a commendable initiative. It addresses the children's concerns and guarantees their safe transportation to school. Our police personnel serve diligently round the clock, and this effort undoubtedly alleviates their worries." The bus was made possible through CSR funds, with the Chief Minister urging other industrial entities to support similar initiatives.

Following this, Chief Minister and Home Minister interacted with the children, inquiring about their well-being and the facilities at the Police Residential Colony, including the bus service. Responding to a request from the police families, the Chief Minister assured them, "I will soon visit you and share a meal of Thethri-Khurmi with tea."

It is noteworthy that the Police Colony Residential Committee in Amlidih, Raipur, wrote a letter to Deputy Chief Minister Shri Vijay Sharma, requesting a school bus for the children. Deputy Chief Minister Shri Vijay Sharma acknowledged and subsequently informed the Chief Minister about the request. Acting on the Chief Minister's directive, the Home Minister approached Ambuja Cement's representative to sponsor a bus from their CSR fund. As a result, today a 52-seater AC bus has been provided for the children of police families. This initiative ensures safe transportation to school for more than 150 children from police families.

Adressing the launch, he stated "State government will provide all possible support to entrepreneurs investing and setting up industries in Chhattisgarh. Our top priority is good governance and a zero-tolerance policy towards corruption. Along these lines, the Single Window Portal 2.0 was launched today to expedite various clearances and approvals, ensuring convenience for investors and new industrialists. This major initiative aims to streamline processes by reducing administrative interference. This portal will be smooth and easy to use for entrepreneurs."

Shri Sai assures full support for industry setup in Chhattisgarh

Explaining its benefits, Shri Sai added, "The state has abundant resources and vast opportunities for industrial development. With this new system from the Industries Department, all necessary facilities will be available at a single click. Simplifying the process of establishing industries will enhance investor interest and create employment opportunities for the youth. Businessmen will no longer need to navigate multiple departments for submitting applications and clearances."

Chief Minister stated that departmental officers have been assigned responsibilities within the new portal and will be accountable for timely processing of applications. He also instructed officials to conduct periodic reviews.

Industries Minister Shri Lakhanlal Dewangan congratulated traders, stating, "This platform will ensure timely resolution of applications, allowing applicants to track their status with a single click."

Commerce and Industries Secretary Shri Ankit Anand provided detailed information about the Single Window System 2.0. He highlighted that this portal integrates more than 100 services across 16 departments, enabling applicants to log in just once without the need for repeated submissions. Any inquiries from departments throughout the process can be monitored by logging in.

Regarding the new features, he explained, "There is no longer a need for offline office visits. Payment can be made through e-challan. Information regarding required permissions from various departments before establishing any industry is now accessible on the portal. Each departmental officer has been assigned ID-passwords to ensure timely resolution of applications. Monitoring and alerts for permissions and licenses will now be streamlined."

Meanwhile, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai has stated multiple times that industrial growth not only promotes development of state but also generates employment opportunities for youth. He stressed that a transparent and simplified industrial setup process will attract more entrepreneurs, accelerating economic growth. Acting on the Chief Minister's directives, the Commerce and Industries Department has revamped the previous portal and launched Single Window System 2.0 to facilitate industry establishment.

He instructed the officials to provide quality education to children and ensured that discipline is maintained in schools. He directed Block Education Officers to conduct field visits to monitor the quality of teaching and learning in schools. He instructed district collectors to inspect two to three schools every month to oversee their functioning.

The Chief Minister outlined the state government's commitment to good governance and transparent administration. He emphasised improving school infrastructure and educational arrangements for children. He expressed strong disapproval of the slow pace of school renovation work. He stated that the slow pace of the renovation work of dilapidated schools would not be tolerated. He instructed the collectors to oversee the structural integrity of school buildings. He directed the officials to oversee the progress of renovating dilapidated schools under the School Jatan Yojana and review the status of the allocated funds to complete the necessary projects. Additionally, he directed the officials to prepare a proposal for the rationalisation of teachers and schools to overcome the shortage of teachers in schools and present it at the next cabinet meeting.

Chief Minister highlighted that Prime Minister Shri Modi has launched a tree-planting campaign called "Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam" in his Mann Ki Baat program. He urged that in the schools with boundary walls, students should be encouraged to plant trees during the rainy season and take responsibility for their care. He recommended tree species, including Neem, Gulmohar, and Karanj. Additionally, Chief Minister Shri Sai instructed the officials to formulate a ‘Training Policy’ to provide rotational training for all teachers to ensure they receive consistent training for professional development. He also emphasised the importance of involving parents in the educational process. He shared that a state-wide Mega Parent-Teacher Meeting (PTM) will be held in Chhattisgarh's Government schools on August 6th for the first time.

Education Department will appoint mentors to prevent dropouts under RTE

To address the dropout rate among students admitted to non-grant private schools under the Right to Education Act (RTE), the education department will appoint district-wise officers as mentors. The Secretary of School Education has issued a letter to all Collectors regarding this initiative. These mentors will be responsible for ensuring that students selected under RTE get admission to the schools with ease. They will also address any issues faced by the students. They will engage with parents, school management, and administration to resolve problems.

Vocational Education: Aligning children's skills with industry needs

Chief Minister has directed the officials to conduct vocational courses in schools. He emphasised that these courses should align with the needs of the state's industries to ensure that students can secure employment opportunities in both current and future industries after completing their 12th grade. Additionally, he stressed the importance of providing field training for students as part of these vocational programs. It is also noteworthy that, under the National Education Policy 2020, vocational courses will be introduced from class 6.

Officials shared that the student-teacher ratio in Chhattisgarh is better than the national average. While the national ratio is one teacher for every 26 children, Chhattisgarh boasts a ratio of 21.84. Additionally, there are currently 9,438 Balwadis in the state for children aged 5 to 6, and the department will start 1,132 new Balwadis this year. In the review of the PM Shri Yojana, officials informed that the scheme's first phase has been implemented in 211 schools across the state. The initiative aims to select and develop one model school in each development block and urban area. Officials further informed that proposals have been submitted to extend the scheme to 198 more schools, which will be developed into green schools featuring improved infrastructure, kitchen gardens, AI robotics, and ICT lab facilities. Officials also informed that summer camps were organised in most schools this year.

Officials informed the department has established the Vidya Samiksha Kendra to oversee beneficiary-oriented programs run by the School Education Department. The centre will gradually monitor various aspects, including online attendance of students and teachers, student evaluations, the status of mid-day meal schemes, teacher promotions and transfers, and leave status. The Education Department has signed an MoU with IIT Bhilai to develop software for data analysis.

Raipur : Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai disbursed Rs. 653.85 crore as the fifth installment of the Mahtari Vandan Yojana to more than 70 lakh eligible women on July 1. This scheme, as a part of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi's guarantee, is providing Rs. 1000 monthly to eligible married women in the state. Shri Sai launched the Mahtari Vandan Yojana within three months of taking the oath as Chief Minister of the state.

The first installment of the Mahtari Vandan Yojana was released by Prime Minister Shri Modi on March 10. The Mahtari Vandan Yojana, reflecting values of good governance, ensures transparency through DBT fund transfers. The regular instalments have brought significant relief to many women, enabling them to manage household budgets, support children's education, and invest in the future.

At the recent Jandarshan, numerous women expressed their happiness and praised the scheme for bringing prosperity into their lives. They acknowledged that such a beneficial scheme for women had not been implemented in the state before, and it is helping in fulfilling their dreams.

Chief Minister Shri Sai said that on the last Sunday of every month at 11 am, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi shares new insights through 'Mann Ki Baat'. He mentioned that today, the Prime Minister highlighted the work of women from the self-help group in Attapadi village, Kerala, who have created a branded product with their 'Maruthumbi' umbrellas, leading to an increase in their sales. Under the leadership of Modi Ji, athletes in our country are being given exceptional opportunities in various sports, allowing them to achieve great success both nationally and internationally.

Chief Minister Shri Sai referred to Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi's 'One Tree in Mother's Name' (Ek Ped Ma ke Naam) campaign and appealed to the people of the state to plant a sapling in their homes, gardens, fields, and surrounding areas in the honour of their mothers. He emphasized that if India's 140 crore population plants even one sapling each, it would lead to a significant environmental revolution.

Sports Minister Shri Tankram Verma said in his address that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi is fulfilling the aspirations of millions of people across the country through 'Mann Ki Baat'. Kunkuri Seva Sadan: A Lifeline for Patients from Remote Areas, Offering Free Accommodation and Medical Services

Raipur : Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai visited the Kunkuri Seva Sadan to assist patients and their families coming to the state capital Raipur from remote areas for treatment. The facility offers comfortable accommodation for patients with various illnesses and their families, along with high-quality health services and guidance. Free ambulance services are also provided for transporting patients to and from the hospital.

During his visit to Kunkuri Seva Sadan, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai interacted with patients and their families to inquire about their well-being, treatment progress, and the facilities provided at the Sadan.

Officials at the Sadan informed the Chief Minister about the progress of patients like seven-year-old Ria, who has seen improvement in her health due to physiotherapy for polio-related disabilities. Ms. Rita Kayatar, who was unable to walk after an accident and came from Kunkuri, has also shown health improvement through continuous physiotherapy at DK Hospital. Additionally, Mr. Neetish Kumar, who underwent leg amputation following a road accident in Bastar, is currently receiving treatment at DKS Hospital, including accommodation and meals at the Sadan.

Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai emphasized the presence of both female and male doctors and medical staff at Kunkuri Seva Sadan, providing services to all patients, including those from remote areas and diverse backgrounds. Named after his constituency, Kunkuri Sadan offers guidance and assistance to patients across the state who initially struggle to secure hospital beds. Sadan officials collaborate with hospital doctors to ensure proper treatment under government schemes. The Chief Minister reiterated his commitment to healthcare services since the beginning of his public career.

Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai has taken significant steps to enhance healthcare in Chhattisgarh, particularly for people traveling from distant regions to Raipur for medical services available at institutions like Ambedkar Medical College, Mekahara, AIIMS, and private medical facilities. Recognizing their needs, he initiated the establishment of Kunkuri Seva Sadan, inaugurated earlier this year as a 50-bed facility. To date, over a thousand people have benefited from the Sadan. Notably, Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai has shown sensitivity towards medical services throughout his tenure as a Member of Parliament and Union Minister. His leadership has transformed Kunkuri Sadan into a beacon of hope for patients from Jashpur and across the state.

From the outset of his term, Chief Minister Shri Sai has prioritized improving Chhattisgarh's healthcare system. His initial directive upon taking office was to enhance ambulance services, alongside ensuring the availability of affordable generic medicines in all government hospitals. Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Shri Tank Ram Verma and MLA Shri Purandar Mishra were also present on this occasion.

Chief Minister emphasised the complete eradication of the Naxal issue in Chhattisgarh

Raipur : Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai chaired the Unified Command meeting at Circuit House in Raipur on Friday. He stated that Naxal activities in Chhattisgarh are declining. He attributed this success to the effective joint operations conducted by the Central Security Forces and Chhattisgarh Police, which have benefited from improved coordination.

The state government has intensified the naxal operation in Chhattisgarh along with accelerating the development efforts under the government's new "Niyad Nellaner Yojana," which has increased public trust in the government and administration. Chief Minister Shri Sai directed officials to prioritise development projects in Naxal-affected areas, focusing on completing high-quality road construction, bridges, and other government projects within the stipulated timeframe. He also instructed officials to provide security arrangements to expedite ongoing construction work in these areas.

The meeting focused on enhancing the police intelligence network in Naxal-affected regions and conducting anti-Naxal campaigns with the support and trust of local villagers. They discussed the issues faced by security personnel in the Naxal-affected areas. Chief Minister instructed the officials to ensure the availability of essential facilities and resources at security force camps. They directed the officials to improve coordination with neighbouring states, particularly Maharashtra, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, and Odisha. This includes joint operations in border areas, surveillance of connecting routes by security forces, and information sharing. The Chief Minister emphasised that local villagers should not face any inconvenience during anti-Naxal operations.

Chief Minister directs Bilaspur Collector to investigate farmer's fraudulent withdrawal and KCC loan case

Raipur : In Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai's Jandarshan program, various issues and expectations of the general public were addressed. People directly interacted with the Chief Minister, sharing their problems and submitting applications.

During today's Jandarshan programme at the Chief Minister's residence office, farmer Om Prakash met the Chief Minister and reported that money had been fraudulently withdrawn from his cooperative bank account. Besides, a Kisan Credit Card (KCC) loan had been fraudulently obtained in his name. Taking prompt action on his complaint, the Chief Minister instructed the Bilaspur Collector to immediately investigate the matter rigorously. He also directed that strict action be taken against those responsible for the fraud, ensuring the return of the misappropriated amount to the farmer.

Om Prakash, a farmer from Navagarh village in the Sipat Police Station area of Bilaspur district, explained that Ramesh Sahu, a computer operator at the Seva Sahakari Samiti Sipat, had withdrawn Rs 27,000 from his cooperative bank account on three occasions by forging his signature.

Upon examining the withdrawal slips, it was discovered that Ramesh Sahu had fraudulently withdrawn the money using forged signatures. Ramesh Sahu enticed Om Prakash's minor daughter, obtained the bank passbook, and withdrew money deceitfully. Om Prakash also informed the Chief Minister that an unauthorized loan of Rs 16,000 was taken in his name in 2019.

Divyang visitors Balram and Rohit received tricycles at Chief Minister's 'Jandarshan'

Raipur : Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai interacted with a large number of people today at Jandarshan program. He not only heard their grievances patiently but also ensured their redressal. In the same sequence, two Divyang visitors- Balram and Rohit met Chief Minister and requested for a tricycle with ice box, so that they can work as hawkers and earn their livelihood.

Balram, a 35-year-old from village Parasbod in Bemetara district, has been handicapped in his legs since the beginning, while Rohit Kumar, 34, became physically challenged after sustaining injury in an accident. Both the disabled youths want to lead a respectable life by starting their own business instead of being dependent on others.

Chief Minister appreciated the eagerness of both the youngsters to become self-dependent and provided them with tricycles with ice boxes.Chief Minister extended them best wishes for their future.

Informs PM about Chhattisgarh Vision Document and anti-Maoist operations

Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai today met Prime Minister Narendra Modi and congratulated him on his third term as Prime Minister of the country.

Raipur : During the meeting, the Chief Minister informed the Prime Minister about Amritkaal: Chhattisgarh Vision @2047 'Vision Document' and said that it is being prepared by the State NITI Aayog, which will be dedicated to the people of the state on November 1. The Chief Minister also informed the Prime Minister about the action taken in anti-Maoist operations in the last six months. He said that a joint action plan is being prepared and action is being taken to eradicate the Maoist problem.

Giving information about the Niyad Nellanar Yojana (Your Ideal Village), the Chief Minister said that under the scheme, work is being done to weaken the base of Naxalites and restore mutual trust between the government administration and the villagers. Under this scheme, currently, 23 camps have been opened, covering 90 villages and there are plans to start 29 camps in the future.

Giving information about the steps taken towards fulfilling Modi's guarantee, the CM said that in the first meeting of the Council of Ministers after the formation of the new government, it was decided to provide immediate approval for the construction of houses for 18 lakh 12 thousand 743 families in the state under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Rural). At present 1 lakh 6 thousand 777 houses are under construction, which have already been approved.

The Chief Minister said that under the Paddy Production Incentive Scheme, Rs 3,667 crore has been given to the farmers for the years 2014-15 and 2015-16. At the same time, under Krishak Unnati Yojana, the Chhattisgarh government has transferred Rs 13,287 crore to the bank accounts of farmers, benefitting over 24.73 lakh farmers.

The Chief Minister said that Mahtari Vandan Yojana has been started to promote economic self-reliance and empowerment of women in the state. Under this scheme, till now 70 lakh women have been given four months' financial assistance amounting to Rs 2618 crore.

Informing the Prime Minister about the Shri Ram Lala Darshan Scheme, Sai said that an MOU has been signed with IRCTC for the scheme under which over 20 thousand beneficiaries from the state will be taken on a pilgrimage to Ayodhya every year.

Raipur : The new government in Chhattisgarh, led by Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai, is working tirelessly to improve the lives of its people and enhance social conditions. The state government is making efforts to extend basic amenities such as education, healthcare, employment, roads, electricity, and water to remote areas. Initiatives like ‘Niyad Nellanar’ are driving significant positive changes.

The state government is making efforts to swiftly implement the administrative reforms under CM Shri Sai's leadership to enhance citizens' convenience. Chhattisgarh has a significant population of farmers for which the state government is focused on fostering a supportive environment and ensuring financial stability for farmers. Under the Krishak Unnati Yojana, the Shri Sai government is purchasing paddy at Rs. 3,100 per quintal to ensure farmers' prosperity. Additionally, the state government has disbursed a two-year pending paddy bonus of Rs. 3,716 crore to farmers.

The state government has prioritised its efforts to provide houses to eligible beneficiaries. Under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, the government has decided to provide houses to over 18 lakh families. For this purpose, the state government has allocated Rs. 3,799 crore in the supplementary budget for 2023–24 and Rs. 8,369 crore in the budget for 2024–25. Beneficiaries are being provided free sand for the construction of their houses. Additionally, over one crore families will receive free rations for five years.

The state government has decided to support homemakers who frequently set aside their aspirations due to family obligations. The Mahtari Vandan Yojana has become a model scheme across the country, offering Rs. 12,000 annually (Rs. 1,000 per month) to more than 70 lakh women beneficiaries. Shri Sai government has taken significant measures to ensure justice for youth and transparency in government recruitment processes. The government has decided to raise the age limit for government jobs by five years.

In Naxal-affected areas, the Chhattisgarh Government's swift and stringent actions have yielded significant results over the past six months. The state government has made significant efforts in which around 136 Naxals have been killed, 526 arrested, and 442 have surrendered, which marks substantial progress towards resolving the naxalism issue in the state.
