Raipur : Under the Chhattisgarh Government's ambitious Sushasan Tihar 2026 initiative, the Samadhan Shivir organised at Koliyari village under Narayanpur Janpad Panchayat emerged as a successful platform for grievance redressal and public service delivery. Organised with the objective of resolving citizens' issues at their doorstep, the camp provided immediate relief to villagers through prompt disposal of several applications on the spot.

It is noteworthy that the State Government has launched a large-scale public grievance redressal campaign titled Sushasan Tihar across Chhattisgarh from May 1 to June 10, 2026. The initiative aims to ensure direct delivery of government services to citizens and facilitate on-the-spot resolution of public grievances.
176 Applications Received Across Departments, Panchayat Department Tops the List
A total of 176 applications pertaining to various departments were received during the Koliyari camp. The Panchayat and Rural Development Department registered the highest number with 58 applications. This was followed by the Food and Civil Supplies Department with 41 applications, Agriculture Department with 17, and Electricity Department with 13 applications.
Similarly, 9 applications were received by the Energy/CREDA Department, 8 by PME, 6 each by Fisheries and Transport Departments, 5 by PMGSY (RES), and 3 by the Water Resources Department. The Industries, Revenue and Tribal Welfare Departments received 2 applications each, while Women and Child Development, Forest, Education and Cooperative Departments received one application each.
Discretionary Grant for Health Needs and Digital Support for Senior Citizens
Demonstrating a compassionate approach, financial assistance was extended to beneficiaries requiring treatment for serious illnesses. A total of 21 beneficiaries were provided voluntary grant cheques of Rs 5,000 each, amounting to Rs 1 lakh.
In another citizen-friendly initiative, the Food Department facilitated successful e-KYC completion for senior citizens at the camp itself, making digital access and service delivery more convenient for elderly residents.
PM Housing Keys Handed Over, Traditional 'Godbharai' Ceremony Held
Beyond grievance resolution, the camp also served as a platform for direct delivery of welfare benefits under various government schemes. In the presence of public representatives, keys to Pradhan Mantri Awas houses were handed over to four beneficiaries, marking an important milestone in fulfilling housing aspirations.
Additionally, two families received new ration cards, while a traditional "Godbharai" ceremony was conducted for five expectant mothers, adding a humane and community-centred dimension to the event.
Single-Window Service Delivery Wins Appreciation from Villagers
Villagers who travelled from remote areas expressed satisfaction at finding officials and services from multiple departments under one roof. They noted that the arrangement helped save both time and expenses while ensuring quicker access to government support.
Officials present at the camp also informed people about various public welfare schemes and guided them on procedures to avail benefits according to eligibility. Local public representatives, district and Janpad-level officials and employees from various departments, along with a large number of villagers and eminent citizens, were present on the occasion.
