Mr. Mr. Bhupesh Baghel today reached Vaishali Nagar in Durg district to converse with the general public as a part of his state wide Bhent Mulaqat Abhiyan. Mr. Bhupesh Baghel reached the Lord Radha Krishna Temple in Nehru Nagar before the Bhent Mulaqat program and prayed and wished for the prosperity of the people of the state. Shawl, shreefal and symbols were gifted to Mr. Baghel by Shri Banke Bihari Samiti. On this occasion, Minister in-charge Mr. Mohammad Akbar, Bhilai MLA Mr. Devendra Yadav, former Minister of State Mr. Baruddin Qureshi, President of Gramin Bank Mr. Rajendra Sahu, Chairman of Municipal Corporation Bhilai Mr. Girwar Bunty Sahu, Vice President of Antyavasayi Vikas Nigam Ms. Neeta Lodhi and public representatives were present.
Announcement made by the Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel
Mr. Bhupesh Baghel made several important announcements for the development of the area. Mr. Baghel announced that in all the wards of Vaishali Nagar Vidhansabha, up to 50 lakh intersections, pathways, culverts and other construction works will be done. Numerous roads will also be repaired and renovated. The beautification work of Chhattisgarh Mahtari's statue will also be done. The high school camp of the area will be operated as the Swami Atmanand English Medium School. The Rani Avantibai Sarovar situated in the Ward no. 07 Rani will be beautified. Boxing, Table Tennis and Volleyball Academy will be started at Jawaharlal Nagar Sports Complex. Along with this, the maintainance work and renovation work of the sewerage line in Nehru Nagar and Housing Board, will be done, beautification of Sanjay Nagar pond, Radhika Nagar including construction of dome shed at various places will also be done.
Inauguration of Millets Cafe
Mr. Bhupesh Baghel inaugurated Millets Cafe near Gurunanak Ji Sarovar of Vaishali Nagar Assembly during the Bhent Mulaqat campaign. Mr. Baghel said that nutritional millet based dishes would be available to the people through the Miles Cafe . Apart from getting delicious dishes here, the dream of a healthy Chhattisgarh can also be realised.
04 Mobile Medical Unit given for the area
Mr. Bhupesh Baghel inaugurated 04 mobile medical units under the Urban Slum Health Scheme. 5 more lab tests have been added to the Mobile Medical Unit. These include sickling test, Widal test, blood group test, UPT pregnancy test and malaria test. This will further expand the medical facilities of the people.

Initiating the Bhent Mulaqat program, Mr. Baghel said that the purpose of this program is to find out whether all the people are getting the benefits of the schemes of the state government or not. Mr. Baghel noted the reaction of the people regarding the ration card and people told that all the people are getting rice through the rationcard. Mrs. Usha Sinha told that her ration card has been made, and she gets rice, sugar, salt regularly.
A woman who had come to meet him from Bhopal told that her grandson has got a head injury, the treatment is going on in Raipur. On the demand of help, the applicant was asked to apply under the Mukhyamantri Vishesh Swasth Sahayta Yojna so that they could get immediate help.
Mr. Baghel was informed by Rizwana, who participated in the Chhattisgarh Olympics as a kabaddi player, that 12 members of the team have received Rs 2,000 each. Mr. Baghel congratulated the team and said that a provision of Rs 25 crore has been kept for this, lakhs of people have participated in the Chhattisgarh Olympics, the prize money will be received immediately in the coming session.
Mr. Dilip Kumar Bhagat told that his house has been regularized. He kindly thanked for the simplification of information regarding regularization. Mrs. Anusuiya Markam told that earlier her house was made of mud, now she has recieved a patta. Ration card, work card has also been received. Weaving machines have also been received from the labor department and stitching work is also being done by them.
Talking to Pragya Singh, a class XII student of Swami Atmanand school, told that Swami Atmanand School has smart class, hi-tech lab, library with modern facilities. She further said that the school has highly qualified teachers and the students are very happy to avail free of cost education.

Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel on Sunday reached Purai village falling under the Durg assembly constituency (Gramin) for his statewide 'Bhent-Mulaqat Abhiyan'. During the meeting at Purai, the Chief Minister inaugurated and performed Bhumi Poojan of various development works worth Rs.78 crore. He also distributed kits to the beneficiaries of various schemes of government. The Chief Minister announced Rs.5 lakh for the installation of Shaheed Mr. Lokesh Sahu statue.
Chief Minister Mr. Baghel said that all sections are getting benefits from government schemes. Through the Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana, the state government is providing bonuses to the farmers along with purchasing their produce at a fair price. He garlanded the photograph of Chhattisgarh Mahtari, lit the lamp, and started the program by singing Rajgeet. During the meeting, Mrs. Urvashi Chandrakar of village Risama told that she has half an acre farm and her agricultural loan of Rs. 20 thousand has been waived off under the loan waiver scheme. Mr. Ramesh Kumar Gajpal said that till now he has sold paddy worth Rs. 1.25 lakh and bought a harvester from it. Farmer Mr. Toshan Kumar Sahu said that he has sold 120 quintals of paddy and his loan of Rs. 26,000 was waived off. He told the Chief Minister that now by selling 20 quintals of paddy per acre, he would get an additional profit of Rs 5,000. Mr. Thaneshwar Sahu narrated his self-composed poem to the Chief Minister. Mr. Thaneshwar thanked the Chief Minister for installing the statue in the name of Shaheed Mr. Lokesh Sahu.
Mr. Devendra Kumar Vaishnav of village Rasmada said that Rasmada is an industrial area, there is no agricultural land available for farming, and industrial groups are not giving them jobs. Chief Minister Mr. Baghel took the information in this regard from the collector and the officer of the District Trade and Industry Center. Officials told the Chief Minister that so far 1037 people have got employment in the district. A ration card beneficiary named Nomin Sahu told that there are 5 members in his house and they are getting rice, sugar, and salt. Advitiya Nirankari, a 10th-class student of Swami Atmanand English Medium School told the Chief Minister that he got relief from expensive school fees, earlier he had to pay Rs 80,000 as school fees.
He took feedback from people about the Hatbazar Clinic scheme. Mrs. Rashi Banjare of Utai village said that she got health benefits from this scheme. She bought a mobile for her brother with the amount she got in Inspire Award. Ms. Shashi informed the Chief Minister that her brother has been selected in NEET exam from Ambikapur. She requested financial assistance for her brother's studies. Praising Ms.Shashi, the Chief Minister announced financial assistance of Rs 2.5 lakh. He directed the concerned officer to provide benefits of government schemes to the divyanga daughter Hansika. On being asked about Mukhyamantri Suposhan Yojana, Mrs. Saraswati said that her son Lakshya was a differently-abled person. Under the Suposhan Yojana, both mother and child are now healthy. They are receiving hot milk, bananas, and nutritious food items from Anganwadi regularly.

A new college for arts, commerce, and science discipline and a primary health center will be upgraded from 30 beds to 50 beds in Nagpura village. A new ITI in Rasmada village will be started soon. The primary health center will be opened in village Anjora (B). Sports academy (including swimming and khokho) will be started in Purai village. Eight additional rooms will be constructed in Government College situated at Utai.
Government High Schools of Maroda, Kuthrel, Birejhar, and Hanoda will be upgraded to Government Higher Secondary Schools. New Higher Secondary Schools will be opened in Khopli and Mundera villages. Approval will be given for the construction of the high school building in village Ruda. Swami Atmanand English medium school will be opened in Purena and Katro village. Swami Atmanand Hindi medium school will be started in Pauwara village.

Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel is visiting the Durg Rural Assembly Constituency under the Bhent Mulaqat program today. The Chief Minister started the Bhent Mulaqat program in Durg Rural Assembly Constituency by unveiling the statue of the Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi in Village Tirga. The Chief Minister also unveiled the statue of popular Gandhian leader and former MLA Dau Late Pyarelal Belchandan and conducted the Bhumipoojan of Community House in Kurmipara.
On this occasion, the Chief Minister also released a folder based on the biography of Dau Late Pyarelal Belchandan. He made the announcement of opening Swami Atmanand English Medium School in Tirga village and also announced the approval of Rs. 25 lakh for the development of the region at the request of the local Sarpanch. Chief Minister also praised the local farmer Tarakeshwar. Tarakeshwar donated Rs. 7000, out of the amount obtained by him through selling paddy under the Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana, to the Mukhyamantri Sahayata Kosh by submitting a cheque to the Chief Minister.
On this occasion, the Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel said that today he has got the opportunity to unveil the statues of Gandhi Ji and Dau Ji in Tirga. Dau Pyarelal Belchandan used to tour all day, was quite disciplined, and had his own identity. There have been many big leaders, and everyone had unique identities and similarities. Dau Ji was punctual as well. He was dedicated to farmers, fought for the protection of their interests, and used to preserve all letters. Mr. Baghel said that Dau Ji used to salute everyone, regardless of whether they were young or old, it was his virtue, and he had started a new tradition.
The Chief Minister said that he has named the Higher Secondary School and Kharkhara Mohandipat Irrigation Scheme in Tirga after Dau Ji to preserve his memories. Mr. Baghel said that 20 quintals of paddy per acre of land have been purchased while keeping the interests of farmers in mind.
He said that the Government has worked towards increasing the income of cattle farmers, because of which about 3.5 lakh families are being benefitted. We are continuously committed to increasing the income of people. We started the Unemployment Allowance Scheme for the youth on 1 April. Moreover, they will also be trained so that they are provided with employment opportunities. We have also started a socio-economic survey, the work under this started yesterday. A portal was launched in Sargaon on 25 March and has also started operating from 1 April.

Chief Minister Mr. Baghel said this in a fair held in Kauhi to the people who had come to seek blessings of Lord Shiva. The Chief Minister said on this occasion that he has prayed to Lord Shiva for the well-being of everyone present in the fair. Like every year, a large number of people have visited the Kauhi Fair.
Lord Shiva is also known as Audhad Dani. Fairs are organized everywhere Lord Shiva resides. With his divine blessings, the state is on the road to progress. Saints have said that the essence of Lord Shiva is the service of all living beings. We have, therefore, made service our goal. We are doing this work by the grace of God and your assistance. The work to develop Ram Van Gaman Tourism Circuit from Koriya to Sukma, spanning 2200 Km., is under process. We have decided to celebrate Kaushalya Mahotsav. We are developing infrastructure in Shivrinarayan and Rajim so that pilgrims can benefit from maximum facilities. We are developing 55 acres of land in Rajim into fair premises. We are also developing the infrastructure in pilgrimage spots related to Guru Ghasidas. We are also working towards making our state economically empowered and providing better facilities in the fields of education and healthcare.

Continuous works are being done for rapid development of civic amenities and infrastructure in Patan. The lakes of the city are being beautified and developed as recreational spots. In this sequence, the deepening and beautification work of Nakta Talab, the main pond of the city, has been done. The cost of establishing Rajiv Sarovar Garden is Rs 5.80 crore. Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel inaugurated the garden on Saturday.
Appreciating the beautification work, the Chief Minister said that it has become an eye-catching garden and a nice place for people to hang out in the morning and evening. The beauty of this pond has been enhanced with the beautification works.

The 'Bunkar Bhavan' of Patan is still not in good condition. Action will be taken to repair the building so that the maximum number of people can get employment. Collector will inspect it and take action for further improvement. Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel said this in a programme organized in Patan on the occasion of 'Parameshwari Jayanti' on Saturday.
Chief Minister said in his address that every year 'Parameshwari Jayanti' is organized in Patan by the Dewangan community. The community is connected to agriculture and weaving. The state has procured 107 lakh metric tonnes of paddy this year and all this happened in a convenient and smooth manner. This year 23.5 lakh farmers have sold paddy. The farmers' growing paddy and paddy area has increased rapidly. All this has been possible because of the schemes of our government. Dannex has been started in Bastar. Excellent work has been done in Bastar in the textile sector. RIPA i.e. Rural Industrial Parks are being established which will open ample opportunities for communities like yours.
He added that a total of 9 SAGES schools have been started in Patan. Earlier there were only two community halls here. Community hall was constructed for your community as well which was later renovated. He also praised the progress made by the community and said that he is happy with the development of Patan. Along with agriculture, business is also growing rapidly here.

Chief Minister Mr. Baghel while addressing the program organised to mark the birth anniversary of Baba Ghasidas ji,said that"Baba Guru Ghasidas ji has always believed in the philosophy of equality and we also take inspiration from Baba's message of Mankhe Mankhe ek saman. The state government considers everyone as equal and has worked towards development of everyone in the society by treading on the path of Nyay and truthfulness." The Chief Minister further said that Baba Saheb's work is also based on this message of equality. Similarly, we have also made arrangements for reservation in class III and class IV appointments in the districts on the basis of census.

Company will pay Rs.15 lakh to Annu, a victim who lost her family in the Kumhari flyover accident

Royal Infra, the company engaged in construction of the Kumhari flyover, will provide Rs.15 lakh for the education and other needs of Annu Dewangan, a victim who lost her both parents in the Kumhari flyover accident. District Collector Mr. Pushpendra Kumar Meena and District SP Dr. Abhishek Pallav discussed with the management of the company in this regard and asked them to take responsibility of the girl child for her education and other needs. Officials told the management that the contract has conditions to take care of all safety measures that are needed during the flyover construction. The negligence of the company led to a serious accident. In this very unfortunate accident, the girl lost her parents. The company should bear the expenses of her upbringing. After discussion, the management now will provide an amount of Rs.15 lakh. The company management will provide a cheque of Rs 15 lakh to the family members of Annu on Thursday in the presence of Collector Mr.Pushpendra Kumar Meena and SP Dr. Abhishek Pallav on the Collectorate premises.

Every year Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel comes to Jajangiri and Kumhari, it is popular belief that bad luck is destroyed by suffering such blows.
As usual, as per tradition, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel reached Jajangiri and Kumhari village of Patan block today and offered prayers to Gaura Gauri and wished for the happiness and prosperity of the people of the state.
After reaching Jajangiri, the Chief Minister greeted the people on Diwali. He said that the festival of lights should continue to illuminate the lives of you people like this. The Chief Minister said that every time I feel very happy to come amongst you and my heart becomes happy by sharing the joy of Diwali with you.

This video is from the Durg district, where CM Bhupesh Baghel joined a gathering on the occasion of "Gauri-Gaura Puja" and was severely beaten with a whip during a rite.

After completing his two day visit to Chandrapur and Pamgarh assembly constituencies as a part of his 'Bhent-Mulaqat Abhiyan', Shri Baghel reached village Santra today. He visited the residence of Dau Late Shri Thakur Ram Chandrakar and paid tributes to him. The Chief Minister also met the bereaved family members and expressed his heartfelt condolences to them.
Private school principal arrested on charges of molestation
Bhilai : principal of a private school was on Saturday arrested on charges of molesting five students in Bhilai city.
The victim girls of Class 10 to 12 alleged that the principal, K. Anand Kumar, called them to his office and molested them, Durg Superintendent of Police Abhishek Pallava said.
The girls had complained against the principal to the district education officer, following which a case was registered, the officer said.
A case under section 354 (molestation) of the Indian Penal Code and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act was registered against him.
Karnataka’s team visits Chhattisgarh to observe innovative measures of Anganwadi Centers

A team of project officer’s of Karnataka, Tata Trust and UNICEF Centre for learning visited Chhattisgarh’s Anganwadi Centers on Thursday to observe the innovative measures taken by the state government to improve the facilities in the field of ECCE(Early Childhood Care and Education). The team, in coordination with the Women and Child Development Department visited the Anganwadi centers of Kotni and Mohlai falling under Durg district. Along with observing the activities under ECCE(Early Childhood Care and Education),the team also praised the state government-run public welfare schemes like Mukhyamantri Suposhan Abhiyan, Suposhan Vatika, and Gauthans. The team was on an extensive tour of Anganwadi centers , and homes of some families and they took stock of the grass root situation after interacting with the beneficiaries. They appreciated the collective effort of the state government and Mitanin communities that are contributing towards improving the health index and nutritional levels in women and children. The team further said that they will make an action plan to implement Chhattisgarh’s innovative schemes in Karnataka as well.
The team visited the Adarsh Anganwadi Center of the village Mohlai and they carefully observed the ECCE activities being done for the holistic development of children, they praised the quality of food being given to children after witnessing fresh and nutritious breakfast that children relished in the Anganwadi Center. They were informed by the Anganwadi workers that the vegetables and fruits which are grown in the Bari are being consumed by the children and mothers of the center. It is worth mentioning that Bari is another innovative public welfare scheme which promotes organic backyard farming. They were further informed that Milk is obtained from the Gauthan and is provided to the children free of cost which is proving to be useful in eradicating malnutrition among children. The team represented by Mr. Prabhakar, Deputy Director, Karnataka State Women and Child Development Department also observed various activities being conducted in the district through a power point presentation. They savored the Chhattisgarhi cuisine prepared by locally procured ingredients and later, saw the Suposhan Vatika built with public cooperation in the Anganwadi complex.
After Mohlai,the team reached the village of Kotni and observed the activities being done for the emotional, physical and intellectual development of children in Anganwadi centers. The team examined and appreciated the quality of food being provided to the children in the center. They also visited Kotni’s Gauthan, and homes of pregnant mothers and children who were malnourished but with the facility of providing nutritious meals,they have become healthy. District Program Officer Mr. Vipin Jain, Supervisor of sector Rasmada , Anganwadi workers, parents of children, members of women self-help groups and local Mitanin were also present during the visit.
