As per the instructions of Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel, district-level fund transfer programms under Rajiv Gandhi Kisaan Nyay Yojana will be organized in all the district headquarters on May 21 this year. Ministers of Chhattisgarh Government, MLAs, Chairmen of Corporations-Boards and Commissions will attend these district-level programmes as Chief Guests. All the MLAs and public representatives will participate in these programmes as well. As the first installment of Kharif Marketing Year 2021-22, Rs 1700 crore will be transferred to the bank accounts of the farmers. Under the scheme, nearly Rs 12 thousand 209 crore have been transferred into the bank accounts of farmers in last two years.

"One lakh twenty thousand, one lakh 40 thousand, 1 lakh 85 thousand, mine 2 lakh", were the voices coming from the crowd. And any passerby who didn't know what is happening would guess if there is some aution going on. But it was no auction, but the response of the farmers when Chief Minister asked them about the loan waiver they have received.

On Wednesday, under Bhent-Mulaqat Abhiyan, Chief Minister Mr.Bhupesh Baghel visited Mangarelgarh village of Surguja district. While addressing the gathering on the occasion, Chief Minister asked the farmers if any of them has not received the benefit of loan waiver?

Even before Chief Minister could complete his question, the farmers enthusiastically started telling the amount of their loans that have been waived off. Glad to observe the enthusiasm and happiness of the farmers, Chief Minister congratulated and clapped for them.

Farmer Ramkumar Gupta of Patela village told that his loan of Rs 2 lakh was waived off, which brought great relief to him and his family. Ramkumar told that after the loan waiver, he could buy a tractor which helped him do farming more effeciently and conveniently. This time he has sold 500 sacks of paddy and earned a good profit. Besides, now he is also spending more on his children's education.

Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel showered his blessings on two newly married couples and handed over their marriage registration certificates under ‘Mukhyamantri Mitan Yojana’. He gave marriage registration certificates to Mr. Ahanan Tirkey and Mrs. Saju Tirkey and Mr. Abhishek Jaiswal and Mrs. Sapna Jaiswal, residents of Ambikapur Municipal Corporation area as a part of his meet-and-greet programme organized today at Ambikapur Vishram Bhawan.

It is worth mentioning that Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel had launched the ‘Mukhyamantri Mitan Yojana’ on May Day at his residence office in Raipur. Through this scheme, all citizens, especially the elderly, disabled and non-illiterate, will be able to easily get 100 types of services sitting at home. At present, 13 types of services will be available in 14 municipal corporations. Citizens will get the benefit of services at their door-step with complete transparency within the stipulated time frame.

Under 'Mukhyamantri Mitan Yojna' citizens will get doorstep delivery of services like domicile certificate, caste certificate, income certificate, document copy, non-digitized (copy of land record), death certificate, marriage registration and certificate, birth certificate, and other citizen-centric services like shop and establishment registration, correction in birth, death, and marriage certificates. Urban Administration Minister Dr. Shiv Kumar Dahariya, Food and Culture Minister Mr. Amarjeet Bhagat, MLA Dr. Pritam Ram, State Women's Commission President Mrs. Kiranmayee Nayak along with officials and common citizens were present on the occasion.

Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel visited Sahanpur village of Lundra assembly constituency on Tuesday under his 'Bhent-Mulaqat Abhiyan'. During his interaction with the people of village Sahanpur, Chief Minister made several major announcements. Chief Minister announced that a new college will be opened in Dhaurpur to provide better higher education facilities to youngsters of the village. In order to expedite the disposal of revenue cases, Chief Minister has also announced the opening of SDM office in Dhaurpur.

During this meet and greet programme, Chief Minister Mr. Baghel announced construction of a bridge over river Machhli, opening of sub-tehsil at Raghunathpur, upgrading of Sahanpur Middle School into a high school and opening of sub-health center at Sahanpur.

Chief Minister Mr. Baghel also approved the construction of a shed and platform in the weekly market, construction of additional rooms in Government Higher Secondary School Lundra and Kudari Lamgaon, and construction of buildings for schools in Karauli, Bargidih, Raghunathpur. Chief Minister said that soon a branch of SBI will also be opened in Dhaurpur. He assured that all kinds of facilities will be provided for public convenience as and when required. On the occasion, Urban Administration Minister Dr Shivkumar Daharia, Lundra MLA Dr Preetam Ram and Additional Chief Secretary Mr. Subrat Sahu.

Chief Minister said during his public interaction that he is happy to learn that the farmers of our state are happy. To ensure that farmers get fair value for their produce, Chhattisgarh Government is providing input subsidy of Rs 9 thousand and Rs 10 thousand per acre under Rajiv Gandhi Kisaan Nyay Yojana. We are procuring Kodo-Kutki, Ragi, and minor forest produce at support price. Rates of vegetables keep fluctuating, hence to save the vegetable producers from the loss, facility of cold storage is required. Chhattisgarh Government is consistently working towards meeting this requirement. A farmer told Chief Minister during the interaction that after the loan was waived off, he could purchase a tractor and now he is earning an additional income by renting the tractor out for 17-18 hours every day.

Chief Minister also inspected the Government Pre-Secondary School, Anganbadi and Ration Shop in Sahanpur. When Chief Minister arrived at the school, children welcomed him by singing a song. On request of the children, Chief Minister directed the Collector to take them to Raipur and to build a good shade in the school for mid-day meal. The children also requested Chief Minister for sports material, and he fulfilled their request at once. Overjoyed by Chief Minister's response, children thanked Chief Minister. During the inspection of the ration shop, Chief Minister asked the women beneficiaries about the distribution of ration at the shop. At anganbadi, Chief Minister met the children with great affinity and asked them about the arrangement there.

Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel said in his address to the people that he has come to their village to meet them, to check if they are getting the benefits of the schemes, and to take feedbacks of the schemes. He said that Chhattisgarh aims to empower the poor. Farmers have been financially empowered through the schemes such as Loan Waiver Scheme, Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana, Godhan Nyay Yojana. Money is going into people's pockets. Earlier people's tractors were pulled due to non-payment of loans, now it is not so. In the chaupal itself, a beneficiary told that he has benefited from the loan waiver scheme. He has bought two tractors and is earning Rs 1200 per hour by renting the tractors. A beneficiary told that he has benefited a lot from Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana, and now he is building a house.

Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel on Monday reviewed the status of implementation of government schemes with district level officers in Surajpur on the sixth day of the meet-and-greet campaign (Bhent-Mulaqat Abhiyan). The Chief Minister said in the meeting that the revenue staff needs to work at the grassroots level. He said that correction of revenue records and land related works including ownership transfer, division, and demarcation should be completed properly within the stipulated time limit. Besides, while distributing forestland rights lease it should be ensured that the beneficiaries get the lease on the actual possession. MLA and Chairman of Surguja Development Authority Mr. Khelsai Singh, Parliamentary Secretary Mr. Paras Nath Rajwade and Secretary to Chief Minister Dr. S. Bharathidasan were also present on the occasion.

Meanwhile, Chief Minister visited a total of 20 places under 5 assembly constituencies of Surguja division including Samri, Ramanujganj, Pratappur, Bhatgaon and Premnagar in 6 days as a part of his public interaction drive 'Bhent-Mulaqat Abhiyan'.

Pointing out that benefits of the 'Narva' scheme are visible at the field level, the Chief Minister stressed on pacing up the speed of works being done under the Narva project. He said that there is a need to improve the work in Panchayats. Not a single complaint of Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana was received during his visit to the villages. Similarly, in Godhan Nyay Yojana, everything is running smoothly from purchase of cow dung to distribution of funds. Self-help groups are doing good work in Gothan. Swami Atmanand English Medium School is being praised everywhere. He said that a lot of work needs to be done in the education department. Besides, he heaped praise on government officials saying most of them are doing their job diligently.

The Chief Minister met the fighting game player Chandan in the Circuit House today. The 18-year-old Runiyadih resident plays fighting games like Vushu, Thoda, Thangta, and Athelema. Chandan secured the second position in the Thoda game held in Shimla. On meeting the Chief Minister, Chandan said that he belongs to a poor farmer family. Playing on behalf of Chhattisgarh on a national level incurs a lot of costs. It’s not possible to bear the costs of playing even after being selected in national competitions. Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel made several important announcements related to development works and public facilities in the public meeting organized today at village Nawaparakala of Premnagar assembly constituency on the fifth day of his meet-and-greet campaign. Mr. Baghel announced construction of a new bridge over the Gej River at Nawaparakala Geji Marg. He announced opening of a sub-tehsil at Umeshwarpur for quick disposal of revenue cases and establishment of new power sub-station to solve the problem of low-voltage and uninterrupted power supply in Premnagar-Umeshwarpur area.

Similarly, the Chief Minister has also announced to expand the facility of ‘Dev Puja’ in Chauri Pahad, construction of new building of Premnagar Higher Secondary School, approval of works under ‘Mukhyamantri Sugam Sadak Yojana’ and to set up solar-powered drinking water systems in the water-stressed villages. The Chief Minister said that irrigation facilities would be expanded through solar powered pumps wherever required.

Chief Minister Mr. Baghel said that I am on this state-wide tour to know the ground reality of the implementation government schemes, whether the public is getting its benefit or not. He said that forestland rights recognition certificates should be distributed to all the eligible people as per the rules by running a campaign. He said that for the first time after the formation of Chhattisgarh state, a record 98 lakh metric tonnes of paddy has been procured. Chhattisgarh is the first state in country procuring cow dung and procurement of cow urine is also in pipeline. We are also promoting the use of vermi compost in fields which will increase soil fertility and crop productivity.

During the meet and greet campaign, President of Premnagar Development Block Sarpanch Union Mr. Pushpendra Markam thanked Chief Minister Mr. Baghel on behalf of the union for increasing the honorarium of Panchayat representatives and implementing welfare schemes for rural areas.

Expressing strong displeasure over the complaint made by the President of Sarpanch Union regarding taking commission in the works of Panchayat, the Chief Minister asked him to tell any particular complaint in this regard and assured strict action after investigation of the same. He said that complaints can be made to the EOW, police station or him or to the public representatives.

Yashoda got the benefit of ‘Mahatari Dular Yojana’

Ms Yashoda, a class X student of Nawaparakala, thanked the Chief Minister for starting the ‘Mahtari Dular Yojana’. Yashoda told that her mother had died due to Covid-19. Her studies continued without any interruption because of the benefits she received under this scheme. She said that she will join government service in future to fulfill her mother’s wish. She also thanked the Chief Minister for the decision taken by the state government exempting local domiciles of Chhattisgarh from paying examination fees for the entrance and recruitment examinations conducted by CG-Vyapam and the CG-PSC.

Rambhagat earned Rs.40 thousand by selling cow dung

During the program, Navaparakala farmer Mr.Ram Bhagat told Chief Minister Baghel that he has earned an income of Rs.40 thousand this year by selling cow dung under the Godhan Nyay Yojana. When asked he told to Chief Minister that he has 15 to 20 cattle.

Action on the farmers complaint, Cheif Minister instructed to conduct an investigation

A farmer from Kedarpur, Mr.Amarjit Kurrey, told the Chief Minister that they haven’t received the dairy subsidy yet. The Chief Minister assured him that his name and the name of his village have been noted down and action will be taken against those held accountable. The Chief Minister also instructed the officers to provide subsidies immediately.

In his mammoth 'Bhent and Mulaqat' tour campaign, Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel reached the village of Ramnagar in the Premnagar constituency and paid a visit to the Kharsura Gauthan. He held extensive conversations with the women of self-help groups associated with this Gauthan. These women informed him that they have stable work and income after the establishment of these state-run gauthans and they don't need to depend on anyone for their needs, they have become self-sufficient with the income generated by Gauthan. The women thanked Mr. Baghel for the implementation of Godhan Nyay Yojna which has not only created mass employment but has also provided home to stray cattle.

The 40 women associated with the Kharsura Gauthan told the Chief Minister that their Gauthan has become a center for self-employment for them. From Cow-dung based Vermicompost to numerous livestock rearing activities like poultry farming, and goat farming, to manufacturing cow-dung-based products like incense sticks, pots, diyas, etc. These women said that it is under the leadership of Mr. Baghel, that they got work, got recognition, and could become financially self-sufficient. On hearing this, while encouraging the women, the Chief Minister said that it is the result of all your hard work that you are able to help your family financially. Along with making herself financially strong, she is able to contribute to the family's strength as well.

It is worth mentioning that in Chhattisgarh, the state government has started the Godhan Nyay Yojana. Under this scheme, Adarsh Gauthans are being built across the state. These Gauthans are also being developed as Rural Industrial Parks. Where not only cattle have got shelter, but employment is also being created for the people.

Various activities being conducted in Gauthans:

During the discussion with the Chief Minister, the women of self-help groups told that products like vermicompost, cow-dung based -wood, super compost, super plus compost, lamps, and pots are being made from cow dung in Gauthan. Moreover, fisheries, poultry, and Many sources of income have also been developed by conducting activities like goat rearing, mushroom production, and vegetable farming. Apart from this, pulse milling has also been established so that villagers do not have to go to other cities for milling pulses.

A pond for fish farming has been built in Gothan

The women associated with Kharsura Gauthan told that in the initial days, they were making different types of products including vermicompost from cow dung only, but other opportunities were also explored for additional sources of income. During this, guidance and financial support were also provided at the government level. After this, a pond for fish farming was constructed in the Gothan complex itself. At the same time, a bari was built for vegetable production where many types of fresh vegetables ranging from bottle-gourd, ladyfinger, onion, cucumber, and watermelon are being produced and sold in the market. The women of Kharsura Gauthan also presented a basket full of vegetables to Chief Minister Mr. Baghel. The Chief Minister urged them to supply the vegetables being produced in Gauthan to the nearby ashrams and hostels.

Electricity will be produced from cow dung, and income to increase even more:

Talking to the women of Gauthan, Chief Minister Mr. Baghel said that till now women are getting income by making products including vermicompost from cow dung in the state. Now electricity will be generated from cow dung and women will also get additional income from this.

Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel today reached the village Ram Nagar of Premnagar constituency of Surajpur district as part of his meet-and-greet campaign. The Chief Minister met and listened to the problems of the people in the shade of Amrai and appealed to the people to take advantage of government schemes and programs on the occasion. Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel was welcomed by schoolgirl Muskan Prajapati, she presented him with a bouquet on this occasion and told him that she was able to pursue further studies only through the Mahtari Dular Yojana.

Muskan told that her father Mr. Harilal Prajapati had died due to Corona, after the death of her father, to continue further studies without her father's support was impossible for her, but the Chhattisgarh government had taken the initiative to provide education for the children who had lost their parents to Corona. Like Muskan, many destitute children have received support for pursuing further studies through the implementation of the Mahtari Dular scheme for this.

School student Pinky Rajwade told Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel that she is a student of class 12th. Going to school has become easy due to the cycle that was provided by the government through Saraswati Cycle Yojana, if she had not gotten a cycle from the government, due to lack of convenience, she would not have been able to study 11th and 12th standard. The Chief Minister said that the Chhattisgarh government stands with the people in every hour of crisis. Congratulating both the girls, Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel wished them well for a better future.

The Chief Minister’s generosity and thoughtfulness have greatly helped a mother on the occasion of Mother’s Day. Mr. Bhupesh Baghel lent a helping hand to the son at his mother’s request and sent an amount of Rs. 4 Lakh for his treatment within three days.

As per the Bhent Mulaqat campaign, the Chief Minister had reached the Tambeshwarnagar Gauthan in Ramanujganj Vidhansabha to meet the local residents. There, Mrs. Reena Vishwas informed him that her son was suffering from a brain tumor and a lot of money has been spent on his treatment. She broke down as she told him that she couldn’t afford her son’s further treatment. The Chief Minister not only consoled her but also announced an immediate financial aid of Rs. 4 Lakh. The amount, as promised, has been sent to Reena Vishwas’s account within three days of the announcement.

On receiving the money, Reena Vishwas thanked the Chief Minister. She said that she received more than what she had hoped for from the Chief Minister. She added that the immediate help she received from the Chief Minister after narrating her needy situation can only be expected from a thoughtful person. Reena said that she had lost her husband due to a tumor a few years ago and she wouldn’t want the same fate for her son. The help provided by the Chief Minister will help her regain the lost happiness of her home. No other gift can be as precious as this on Mother’s Day.

Chief Minister reviews implementation of schemes with officials in Bhatgaon

Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Sunday said that effective implementation of government schemes is visible on ground-level during his tour. Most of the officers-employees are working sincerely and disciplinary action is also being taken against those showing negligence in their work. Mr. Baghel was addressing a review meeting of officials held today at the SECL rest house in Bhatgaon as a part of his meet-and-greet campaign. Parliamentary Secretary Mr. Paras Nath Rajwade and Secretary to Chief Minister Mr. S. Bharathidasan were also present on the occasion.

During his marathon tour of all assembly constituencies, Chief Minister is constantly reviewing the implementation of scheme in the respective area with the district officials after receiving feedback from the general public. Chairing the meeting today, Mr. Baghel reviewed the works of Revenue Department, Education, Forest and Health Departments. Students of Biharpur informed Chief Minister about irregularities in education yesterday. Taking cognizance of the complaint, Mr. Baghel immediately asked the District Education Officer to transfer the teachers there and send new teachers to ensure quality education. He instructed the revenue officials to take complaints related to land and encroachment seriously.

During the review of the works of the Health Department, the Chief Minister told in brief about the inspection of the hospital yesterday. He said that a complete record of medicines and other necessary stuffs should be kept in the hospital. Officials and employees should work with full efficiency, there is resentment among the people only when they do not do the work well or the work is not done within the stipulated time-limit.

Chief Minister Mr. Baghel also directed to provide forestland right certificates to the eligible tribal and non-tribal communities. He has asked the officials concerned to emphasize on water conservation and groundwater replenishment through ‘Narva’ programme to tackle water scarcity. He said that arrangements for rain water harvesting should also be made and district administration should prepare a detailed action plan for water management. Chief Minister Mr. Baghel directed to complete the work of Gauthans within stipulated time period.

The announcements and instructions given by the Chief Minister, Mr. Bhupesh Baghel, during the Bhent Mulaqat Abhiyan are being rapidly implemented. Reena Vishwas from Tambeshwarnagar has received a financial aid of Rs. 4 Lakh within 48 hours. The amount has been credited to her bank account.

Chief Minister Mr. Baghel had reached Aragahi Gauthan in the district Balrampur-Ramanujganj on the second day of the Bhent Mulaqat Abhiyan., i.e. on 5 May. During this visit, Mrs. Reena Vishwas from Tambeshwarnagar had requested the Chief Minister for a financial aid for her son’s brain tumour treatment. She told him that a large amount had been spent on her son’s treatment, and she won’t be able to afford more. The Chief Minister, after hearing about her pain, had promised to offer her a financial aid of Rs. 4 Lakh. However, Mrs. Reena Vishwas expressed her incapacity to write an application letter. On her behalf, the Urban Administration Minister, Mr. Shivkumar Deheriya, readily agreed to write the application letter. After accepting the application, the Chief Minister immediately agreed to grant a financial aid of Rs. 4 Lakh to the woman. After receiving the amount, Mrs. Reena Vishwash and her family thanked the Chief Minister.

Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Saturday said Naxalites should express their faith in the Constitution of India, and then we are ready to talk with them on any platform. He was responding the questions of media persons at a press conference held in Pratappur today. He said that the schemes of the state government being run in the Naxal-affected areas are winning the hearts of the tribal population. Now they are demanding to build roads and open camps. With the effective implementation of state government policies, the Naxal activities are confined into few pockets in Chhattisgarh.

Urban Administration and Development Minister Dr. Shiv Kumar Dahriya and School Education Minister Dr. Premsai Singh Tekam were also present on the occasion.

On this occasion, Pratappur Journalists Association President Mr. Krishna Murari Shukla along with his fellow journalists felicitated the Chief Minister for the decisions taken by the State Government in the interest of the journalists. The Chief Minister announced the approval of Rs 10 lakh for ‘Patrakar Bhawan’ at Pratappur. It is worth mentioning that the State Government has hiked monthly pension for senior journalists under the ‘Senior Journalist Samman Nidhi’ from Rs 5000 to Rs 10,000. The age limit for the same has also been reduced from 62 years to 60 years. Besides, the limit of financial aid given to journalists under ‘Patrakar Kalyan Kosh’ has been increased from Rs. 50 thousand to Rs. 2 lakh.

Similarly, new accreditation rules for journalists have been enacted, in which a provision has been made to give accreditation to journalists of TV channels, web portals, news magazines and news agencies. The accreditation quota for media institutions has been almost doubled. In a first, a provision has been made for accreditation of block-level journalists as well. A provision has also been made for providing a financial assistance of Rs 5 lakh to the kin of journalists who died due to Covid-19. The validity period of accreditation has been increased from one year to two years.

Meanwhile, Chief Minister also gave brief information about his visit to 9 villages of Sitapur, Ramanujganj and Pratappur assembly constituencies falling under Surguja division in the last three days. He announced to start Agriculture College and Additional Collector Link Court at Pratappur. He said that good-quality roads will be constructed in the district.

Today, on the fourth day of ‘Bhent-Mulaqat Abhiyan’, Chief Minister Mr.Bhupesh Baghel reached Latori village in the Bhatgaon constituency of Surajpur district. There he visited a Community Health Center and inquired about the health facilities. He also inquired about the supply and distribution of medicines from the Medical Officer. The Chief Minister expressed deep displeasure over the non-maintenance of the stock register and distribution of medicines and instructed to suspend the medical officer Rakesh Kumar Sao for negligence. The Chief Minister also instructed to issue show-cause notices to Block Medical Officer Dr. Prashant Singh and the office-in-charge Shatrughan Bhagat in this matter.

During the visit to the Community Health Center, the Chief Minister also met with the patients who came for treatment. The Chief Minister said that people should get better health services and free medicines, it should be ensured at all times. He said that information about the supply of medicines, stock register and distribution should be maintained. Information about the patients visiting the health centre for treatment and the medicines distributed to them free of cost should also be maintained.

Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel made various announcements related to development works and public facilities in Kudargarh under ‘Bhent-Mulaqat Abhiyan’.He said that a ropeway will be constructed soon for the convenience of the devotees visiting Maa Bageshwari Devi in Kudargarh. This work has been included in the budget and the tender will be released soon. The Chief Minister announced the construction of a rest house, a sub-health centre, a police post building in Kudargarh. He also announced to develop Raksganda as a tourist centre, widening of Biharpur road, and construction of a bridge in Ragda (Kusmusi) Gobri Nala. He also announced to inspect the quality of Odgi-Biharpur road construction and instructed to complete it by June. He also informs about the approval of an ITI in Shivnandanpur (Vishrampur). Urban Administration and Development Minister Dr. Shiv Kumar Dahariya, Parliamentary Secretary Mr. Parasnath Rajwade and Additional Chief Secretary Mr. Subrata Sahu were also present on the occasion.

Chief Minister Mr. Baghel had reached Kudargarh village of Bhatgaon constituency in Surajpur District on the fourth day of the ‘Bhent-Mulaqat Abhiyan’. During Jan Chaupal while interacting with people, he informs that the next instalment of Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana would be paid to the farmers on the death anniversary of former Prime Minister Late Mr. Rajiv Gandhi which falls on May 21. He said,” production centres have been built in the village, but there is no arrangement for sales of products, so we are starting C-Mart so that you do not have to face the problem related to selling products”. Addressing the people, the Chief Minister said that he is on a tour of all the 90 constituencies to meet the people of the state. During the visit, he will inspect the local government offices to know the implementation status of the various schemes like Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana, Rajiv Gandhi Grameen Bhumiheen Krishi Mazdoor Nyay Yojana, Godhan Nyay Yojana, pension schemes and take direct feedback from the people.

Gadaipara residents no longer have to travel through hills terrian to get their ration

During the ‘Jan Chaupal’, Mr. Harilal, a resident of Gadaipara, told Chief Minister that a total of 25 families in his area had to travel long distance of nearly 16 km, passing via hilly terrain, to reach Kudargarh to get their share of ration from the ration shop. This takes about two and a half hours. Sometimes, they even have to take another long and difficult route of about 35 km, walking along rocky roads, crossing rivers and streams. On his demand, Chief Minister Mr. Baghel directed the district administration officials to connect his village with his nearest gram panchayat, Chuidih. This will ease the villagers to get ration.

Mrs. Divya Kushwaha told the Chief Minister that due to the sudden death of her husband, it is very difficult for her to take care of her family. She demanded financial aid from the Chief Minister, on her humble request Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel immediately announced a financial aid of Rs. 4 lakh.

Village Panchayat Babhra, Raisra and Dharsedi got community forest resource rights lease

During Jan Chaupal, Chief Minister Mr.Baghel distributed assistance amount cheques to the beneficiaries under the provisions of Revenue Circular RB 6-4, new ration cards to 13 beneficiaries and Community Forest Resource Right Lease to Gram Panchayat Babhra, Raisra and Dharsedi. The Chief Minister handed over a cheque of Rs 25,000 to Rajiv Gandhi Mitan Club, Kudargarh. On the demand of the villagers, the Chief Minister instructed to repair the ‘wasteweir’ of Girjapur Irrigation Dam. On knowing about the non-receipt of Right to Education (RTE) amount in non-government schools in Surajpur, he instructed the officials to take necessary action. Mr. Adesh Yadav, who was injured in the accident, came in a wheelchair to meet Chief Minister Mr. Baghel, and humbly requested for the treatment. The Chief Minister instructed the officials to get his MRI done. Mrs. Jaykunwar of Chapda Gothan's Self Help Group told that she is working in Gauthan since the year 2020. Last year, she earns an income of Rs. 36 thousand 750 by selling vermicompost which Chief Minister appreciated.

Besides, he laid foundation stone for various construction works including construction of culvert in Kera Chhariya Nallah, Parasia to Rampur approach road and culvert on Bagaiha nallah worth about Rs 46.38 lakh and culvert construction on Iranala on Bilaspur to Irapara access road worth about Rs 49.99 lakh.

Similarly, he assured to conduct an inspection of the Electricity Department for the establishment of a sub-station to overcome the problem of electricity in the area. The Chief Minister approved the establishment of ITI in Biharpur on the demand of Parliamentary Secretary Mr.Parasnath Rajwade. The Chief Minister announced for a Swami Atmanand English Medium School to be open soon in Biharpur, developing Raksganda as a tourist destination, construction of Biharpur main road, Girls Hostel on the demand of the girl students of Government Girls Higher Secondary School, up-gradation of Kharpathar High School to Higher Secondary School, the opening of State Bank of India branch and ATM in Biharpur from next year and construction of transit hostel for officers-employees. The Chief Minister had lunch at Mr.Bhopal Singh’s house in Biharpur. ‘Pehta’, ‘tilori’, ‘roti’, ‘rice’, ‘lentils’, ‘bhindi ki Bhujia’, ‘Karela Bhujia’, ‘Lakda chutney’ were served in the meal. The Chief Minister told Bhopal Singh ji that he had tasted Pehta in Sanaval as well. He told Mr.Bhopal Singh that Lakda is called Amari in Central Chhattisgarh. During taking the meal, the Chief Minister asked him about his farming practice. Disciplinary action will be taken against negligent teachers

During the meeting, a youth Narendra Sahu complained about negligence by the government teachers in front of Mr.Baghel. Appreciating Narendra for raising the issue related to the quality of school education, the Chief Minister said that disciplinary action will be taken against the teachers for such negligence in schools. Teachers should discharge their duties honestly.
